Do you live your life according to the bible? If so do you follow the rules of Leviticus which is often reffered to when it come to homosexuality as a sin. Have u red all of Levticus? DO you eat shellfish? Do you wear cloth made of different fabrics? Do you refrain from eating animal that has a divided hoof? Do you eat pork? Do you refrain from eating anything in the water that does not have fins or scales, for instance shrimp? All theese and many more are seen as unclean in Leviticus 11. So if you live by the words of the bible I am curious if you live by theese commands or just the ones you find matching your own beliefs. Please educate me.

The way I answer it is “love the sinner not the sin” saying yes homosexuality is a sin but I do not hate peoples that are, simply said we all sin and we should help each other understand God word. Amen.

Sorry, I couldn't get back to you earlier. It's fascinating to observe how, in today's society, many people define themselves based on their sexuality. As a Christian, I believe that God created men for women and women for men. I've heard about these new denominations, and it seems increasingly confusing.
The primary purpose in our world is reproduction. It's unfortunate that the inherent ability of any creature to reproduce has been derailed in the name of pleasure and lust, which constantly separates us from God. Since the dawn of humanity, sexual sin has been one of the most addictive sins, and Satan knows this well.
God loves us no matter what we've been through, but He cannot support a life based on sin. He sacrificed His own Son on the cross to expel our faults. Yet, the growing arrogance and godlessness in people increasingly separate us from our true purpose: to serve Him, not ourselves.
God asks only one thing from us: to be faithful and obedient. Nothing more, nothing less. Our devotion and adherence to His will are what He desires.

Everyone’s born a sinner, that’s where the free will comes into play, we get to choose if we wanna judge, or to give into lust etc… whatever the brother and sister chooses, we shall not judge. Who are we to judge? Who are we to say where they’re going after death… we shall have love in our hearts not hatred, resentment or judgment towards one another. God bless you guys and don’t judge, don’t pick lust and other sinful acts.

You know what else are sins?
1. Cutting your hair.
Leviticus 19:27 "Do not cut the hair at the sides of your head or clip off the edges of your beard."
2. Wearing an outfit with more than one type of fabric, owning a mixed-breed dog, having more than one type of plant in your garden.
Leviticus 19:19 "Keep my decrees. Do not mate different kinds of animals. Do not plant your field with two kinds of seed. Do not wear clothing woven of two kinds of material."
3. Touching an "unclean" animal.
Leviticus 5:2 "If a soul touch any unclean thing, whether it be a carcass of an unclean beast, or a carcass of unclean cattle, or the carcass of unclean creeping things, and if it be hidden from him; he also shall be unclean and guilty."
4. Touching a woman after she gives birth or allowing her to go to church.
Leviticus 12:2 "Say to the Israelites: 'A woman who becomes pregnant and gives birth to a son will be ceremonially unclean for seven days, just as she is unclean during her monthly period. On the eighth day the boy is to be circumcised. Then the woman must wait thirty-three days to be purified from her bleeding. She must not touch anything sacred or go to the sanctuary until the days of her purification are over. If she gives birth to a daughter, for two weeks the woman will be unclean, as during her period. Then she must wait sixty-six days to be purified from her bleeding."
5. Drinking wine in church.
Leviticus 10:9 "You and your sons are not to drink wine or other fermented drink whenever you go into the tent of meeting, or you will die. This is a lasting ordinance for the generations to come."
6. Getting a tattoo.
Leviticus 19:28 "Do not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves. I am the Lord."
7. Going to church if you were born out of wedlock.
Deuteronomy 23:2 "No one born of a forbidden marriage nor any of their descendants may enter the assembly of the Lord, not even in the tenth generation."
8. Not being a virgin.
Deuteronomy 22:20-21 "If, however, the charge is true and no proof of the young woman's virginity can be found, she shall be brought to the door of her father's house and there the men of her town shall stone her to death. She has done an outrageous thing in Israel by being promiscuous while still in her father's house. You must purge the evil from among you."
9. Women speaking, teaching, or learning in a church.
1 Corinthians 14:34-35 "As in all the churches of the saints, the women should keep silent in the churches. For they are not permitted to speak, but should be in submission, as the Law also says. And if they desire to learn anything, let them ask their own husbands at home; for it is improper for a woman to speak in church."
and 10. Having a disability or being unattractive.
Leviticus 21:18-21 "No man who has any defect may come near: no man who is blind or lame, disfigured or deformed; no man with a crippled foot or hand, or who is a hunchback or dwarf, or who has an eye defect, or who has festering or running sores or damaged testicles. No descendant of Aaron the priest who has any defect is to come near to present the food offerings to the Lord. He has a defect; he must not come near to offer the food of his God."
But everyone can ignore these sins and condemn Homosexuality, which has actually been proven as a mistranslation made in 1946?
That’s in the old testament. Christians don’t abide by Old Testament rulings

Your speaking of the old Mosaic laws before Jesus Christ came to full fill the law of Grace!" All the moral laws remain. Nolonger need to sacrifice animals for the sins of the people. Jesus became the loving sacrifice for our sins that separate us from our holy God. Sin cannot enter into heaven, and we cannot be with God with corruption. God he humbled himself in the man Jesus to walk among his beloved creation. To lay down his life for us, to bring us back to the Father.

I born like that, i try so much to change my feelings, pray to God, crying all night, but there is no cure for my orientation .. i did have sex with men .. but i know deep in my self that it is wrong.
I can't distort the clear text of Qu'ran or even the Bible.
I know it is a sin, i'm trying to stop it, and i allways believe that hetrosexualty is the right natural orientation.
May be God create us gay as a hard test we should pass .. maybe i will allways having sex with men, but in the other hand i will allways repent to God, ask him forgivness, waiting and watching how the world perish and fall.

I have a friend and a cousin that are gay.I still talk to them.Yet,Iam in total disagreement about it.I think it is very bad.One is married and one sleeps around "hookups".I grew up in Spain Where lateness is not overly frowned upon. So I tend to never be precisely on time.Both my friend and cousin hold this against me.As if Iam inconsiderate .Yet,I have never been hostile towards them being homosexuals.
Their homosexuality doesn’t inconvenience you. Lateness is a lack of consideration and respect for the people you keep waiting. In effect, it's saying 'my time is more important than yours'. Being gay is not the same order of thing. And you don’t get a medal for talking to gay people. 😂

Romans 1:19 is known as "natural revelation", which states that you can look around in nature and know that it was created by God. And, Paul is saying that this is proof of God's existence when he says that people are "without excuse". But, that is not how to prove an assertion in science. It assumes the conclusion.
Paul gets the science wrong about natural revelation. He can Paul be an authority on his other statements (on homosexuality)?

Why is it a sin though? I know the bible says it is but why? They don't harm anyone? Also it says we have to forgive them and convert them back to heterosexuality, so technically you could live your entire life as a gay/lesbian then suddenly have sex with someone of the opposite gender and be saved? isn't that a loophole? I just can't understand god's logic regarding homosexuality!
I understand why that frustrates you. Homosexuality is a victimless dead. It does not really harm anyone when it is consensual. I feel that many Christians use homsexuals as a "common enemy" to form unity. They are an easy target because they are a minority. Following the true core ideas of Christ (helping the weak, controlling our anger) is in contrast difficult and requires true sacrifices. I can only recommend you to see the bible as a historic text with a lot of manipulation with it. And find out for yourself what can be true and what is propably not in context of Jesus highest command (that of love) and in context of how he really acted. When he for example heals people on Sabbat in the eyes of the Jews he is himself already a sinner, because he doesn't keep to the rules of the old testament. But he does not believe in "godly rules" that harm people.

It is not truthful. It is what you have been taught and believe is truthful. When your beliefs give fuel to homophobia, hate, and harm, your theological interpretation may not be accurate. This causes a person to go back to the scriptures and study. What you find in studying the original cultural context and original language is that the Bible does not condemn all forms of homosexuality. It is cultural prejudice read into the text. Moses and Paul are not talking about gay or lesbian people. They are talking about certain exploitive and harmful behaviors committed by heterosexual people.

@@boojeboy1 read the original Hebrew. It's talking about raping young boys in cultic practice. Read 18:21 and 18:23 It's about idol worship. Read about the male prostitutes in the Book of Kings. This is not a blanket condemnation. No mention of lesbians anywhere.
These arguments have been debunked. Nothing in the scriptures suggests that Moses or Paul were being selective in condemning homosexuality. All of it, whether explotive or consensual, is harmful to those who practice it, as all sexual immorality is a sin against our own bodies.
