This is a good video. I setup a SMSF in late 2019 for the purpose of purchasing direct property and limit my exposure to equity markets. I used BlueBay Finance to finance the purchase of a dual occupancy in Dakabin Moreton Bay QLD. One of the best decisions I made.
Juat bought my first investment property in Brisbane with my SMSF. Stoked to get out of the rorting Super industry & their ridiculous fees & volatility.
Thanks for the video. It may be worth mentioning that there are not many lenders in this SMSF space anymore and also some require you to have a cash or cash equivalent reserve of funds as well as the deposit.

Great information thanks Ravi. Just one question. Can you build a property with a SMSF, like an industrial unit complex or set of units / Townhouses ??
Only if it's a single contract build i.e. the builder buys the land, builds on it then you buy it. You can not buy house and land separately.
IF your accountant says NO get a new accountant...LOL Also another hack is to combine your SMSF if MARRIED with your partner to give you better buying power.
