Man this guy really knows his Mexican food !!! And this is coming from a Mexican..... Dude had me drooling the whole time!!! 😀😱😊
Single dad with three kudos in their late teens, early twenties. I need all the help I can get coming up with variations of the same old same old. This channel certainly is a breath of fresh air. You never know, maybe next year Cinco de Mayo will be on the 6th.😁
Thank you for taking good care of your kids and their insatiable young appetite for food and variety.
And yes, Cinco de Mayo may pop up any day of the year. 😄
Margarita is my fav cocktail...I think my next Fiesta will start even today! 😆😁
Oh yes, I'll be over in a few minutes 😂🤣
@@waltertx.6020 I’m o play the same for my
Really enjoyed this video....unfortunately my wife said I could no longer watch one this long. I think it was something to do with the fact I told her she was the jerry Clower of whether or not she wanted to join me in the shower, when it was over lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Priceless!!!!
Thanks, dad
😅😅😅😅😅😅😅🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
LOL 💕💕💕🤣🤣🤣
Good one. He is the king of korn.. like Hunter who's the king of Porn!
We all need a korny joke occasionally 😂😂
I'm absolutely loving these compilation videos! I can't ever get enough Chef John!
@@DrJonez because I don't have to go through each individual video to be able to watch a bunch in a row. Sometimes I just like to do that. And I have to admit, I'm not very sorry for it at all, and it's very sad for you if it's a problem but I really don't care. Have a nice day!😁
I really like these marathon videos.
I love these compilation videos, these might be the only cooking videos i can put in the background for a long time
You have the best mouthwatering channel on RUclips! Better than what's on TV - thank you for sharing - margaritas and atmosphere at your house would probably be the best ever, along with the food😄😋
Also, I'm impressed with your Mexican recipes that include chile, from someone born and raised near Hatch, New Mexico. We have unique regional recipes with flavor and heat not found elsewhere in New Mexico, nor even the U.S. or the world! My FIL and I were discussing that this last weekend😊
Now that I've seen the rest of the video, I have to comment that the chile colorado (red) enchilada sauce you prepare is far removed from what we prepare here in Southwestern New Mexico.
Thank you for cheering me up with gorgeous food, and amazing puns!!!! You're the BESTESTEST Chef John!!!!
Yup. Stacked (not rolled) Enchiladas! Been doing this for 40 years. Mostly, without the chicken. Easy delicious.
Dude I laughed out loud when you said the avocado would counteract the effect of the chips and the 6 pack of beer. 😂😂😂 Awesome 👏
Chef ... ALL of these Mexican meals look wonderful
Good call to put all these video's into one video.
You are the man of the pan.
Found this on accident. But THANK YOU. I'VE BEEN STRUGGLING WITH QUESO
I know it's not on the his list but I've made Chef John's chicken mushroom chimichangas many times. Posted over 8 years ago but it's still a family favorite to this day.
Post the recipe or the link, Please!

I think you’re right! Cinco de Mayo does fall on May 5th!
"Screw the salsa, save the lime for the drinks" XD
Your struggle keeps the dream alive. Thank you chef John 😂
Sour cream and salsa, awesome. GOD BLESS and yes Heaven will be Heavenly.
I love, love, love your channel. I plan to join in a couple of months, when I have the time to cook “with” you. I am unbelievably excited about your Queso dip recipe, as I believe that may be very close to what we get at our favorite restaurant in San Diego. We now live in Colordo….I think your style of cooking is exactly what I want to copy. Amazing!
All great recipes. I love the classic guacamole and the margarita. I've made those a few times now and they are scrumptious. Thank you, Chef John 🥑💚
I'm amazed 'Fire roasted cherry tomato salsa' didn't make it onto this list! It's without doubt one of my all time favourite Chef John recipes! Still a great list :)
My son made this for us and it was AMAZING!
😜Hey John, I have a feeling Cinco de Mayo might fall on the 5th *NEXT YEAR* too! (Maybe even the following year as well....weird huh?)🤣
I laughed at that 😆
😂🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for making my day with so many delightful cooking lessons!
Hey, Cinco de Maya is on May 5th again this year! Thanks for all the great video's, John!
I loved this video please make more mexican dishes
Thank you for posting this! I'd ike your take on Carne Guisada 🙌🏼
Thank you chef. Can we get some Chef John Ramadan recipes, that’ll be awesome!
Oh dang there are some amazing beef cheeks here in central Texas that would be perfect for Birria! But I also love lamb and I am looking for goat. I am guessing a lamb shoulder or goat shoulder would be best for this stew. Can't wait to make!
I love listening to you and watching you ,
I think you should get a cooking slot on TV I'm more than certain you'd be a massive hit ,just like you are now 😉
Cilantro tastes a little like soap to me -- the world's most delicious soap. I'm not sure what that says about me. I do love it.
If it tastes like soap, then you are 'one of those people ' who are genetically disposed to that. It's supposed to taste citrusy. I was wondering because it doesn't quite taste soapy to me, but it is unpleasant. So I asked the Great Google what it was supposed to taste like. There are suggestions that if you crush or pulverize it, it tastes better to us
Try actual culantro, cilantro is actually coriander. They are 2 different plants and culantro won't taste like soap for you.
Still is the nr 1 chef!!!
this all looks so delicious. i wish you offered takeaway
Air Fryer works fantastic for toasting up tortilla chips for nachos!
Вкусный...очень.....Спасибо ,за рецепт...👍👍Delicious...very.....Thank you for the recipe...👍👍
I wasn’t sold on adding cheese until you said pepperjack.❤️
The second "they're mine...nachos" - actually got me laughing. Chef John is too pure for this world XD
One of his best LOL
Good morning to my church family. Happy last Sunday in February.
I have never seen or heard of "plastered" meat. It would be interesting to try. I love this segment. Thanks for bringing it together.
It's borrowed from a very, very old technique of cooking meat in clay.
I thought this was related to our "Fiesta". 😆 In San Antonio, TX, it's Fiesta right now, which is a city-wide celebration commemorating the heroes of The Alamo and the Battle of San Jacinto. Its a display of San Antonio's rich, diverse culture with so many events happening throughout the city for both family and adults. We have a big parade, a carnival, concerts, etc. It lasts multiple days and it's so popular that some local businesses give employees the day off for the the parade. I work in hospital and the census has been so low these past two days cuz everyone is out partying and having family time, no one has time to feel sick :)
This video is more than appropriate right now even though it wasn't your intention. :P
Hahaha! Cool! Happy Fiesta! I am south of you for another 6 weeks!
Sounds 'Fiestastic'
You always have great recipes!!! Thank you chef John.
This was fantastic. family loved them.
Not even through the video yet, had some nice chuckles and a good overall feeling with new ideas and the way they got presented. Thanks again =)
I'm definitely making those shrimp nachos!!!
This a more elegant, lighter version of the 🍺 'pub-style nacho', definitely cocktail worthy!🍹
Love your videos! Thanks so much for making videos
Thanks for the chuckles with the Chicken Enchiladas!! Great video!!!!
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah, the queso dip is soooo good!
The only thing I'd add to that Margarita is to top it off with a float of Grand Marnier. Then pass the chips, salsa, & guac.
Big shout-out from Brooklyn to ya Chef John. Let's go Yankees.
It all looks delicious! Now I’m very hungry! 🌮🫔🍤🥑🍅
Gracias, Chef Juan.
Ahhh! Love me some chef John. Love love love
my favorite chef 🤗 been a fan for years
Port wine ch3ddar is an interesting color and salty mass of YUM!!!
The refried beans work nicely for the tiny tacos

Love birria tacos
Thanks for bringing it together.
It’s like Flextape guy , meets Grant Thompson, meets my stomach…… GREAT VIDEO🤘🏼🤘🏼
"You are the jesus of your cheeses" would have worked but I get it
3:59 “These are so good and addictive, I could have eaten 20 of these, and by could have, I mean I ate 20 of these”. 😂
i sure appreciate you chef john! tyfs
This is awesome! But just come down to San Antonio TX and really celebrate.
Undoubtedly the best video I've ever watched! 😋🤤
I love the way you say 'URBS'
Absolutely adore you ❤️
Cilantro DOES taste like soap, but that doesn't stop me from loving it!
My coworker and I eat the Birds tacos every Thursday! The they're sooo good!
My go to salsa recipe if from this Sunset Magazine Mexican cook book.
OMY! how wonderful! cinco de mayo starts on may 5th! and as always... injoy...
You har the champion of your compilat’ion!
Looks good Chef John!!!
Amazing recipe! I will try it out!
Chef J I love your channel and follow you!❤
I am not big on the cinnamon. From the Mexico City region, they use ground allspice, which I think gives the meats and beans a fresher, less sweet taste. I save the cinnamon for chocolate. Both authentic Mexican.
OMG same here! I hate cinnamon in a savory dish! Anytime someone says use cinnamon with meat I delete it. Thanks for recommending allspice, a much better choice / alternative!
Omgoooosh I absolutely love this😁 as I make similar content on my channel, I wish I would have included queso for my Cinco de mayo video! Dang that looks great! Thank you for the recipes and Wonderful upload!!! New subscriber here❤️
*_So delicious! Who agree with me?_* 😍
The birria tacos are making me salivate!
This was fantastic! I’ll be making all but one of these ASAP! 🥑 = ☠️. 🥺
You are so funny! I love your videos and will tell my friends at work
Chef ... ALL of these Mexican meals look wonderful ( I think I could smell them thru my phone) 😋🥰 I can't wait to make them all ❗ ♥️your channel. 🥰
Thank you ... Like always Funny & Delicious ...
I want to make those tiny tacos!
15:44 Did I hear correctly? No cayenne? That can't be right - it must be a trick!
15:51 - thought so!
I love this Festa video.
Thank you for sharing ❤️
I know this is old but saying "I think it falls on May 5th this year" for Cinco de Mayo was priceless
“You are the boss of your cheese choices!!”
I was kinda disappointed in that one---it doesn't even rhyme! In another video, he did much better with "You are the Jesus of your cheeses!"
I truly enjoy your channel
Push the avocados through a small holed rack, it’s easier!
I NEED ALL OF THESE DISHES
Ha ha ha . . . ?
Mucho gracias
Looks yummie, I'll try it.
"If you don't, screw the salsa! Save the limes for the drinks." Yes, indeed!
Years ago we had a Mexican gentleman that my mom worked with come over to prune our apple tree and he got out of his truck in the driveway and pointed at one of the weeds and he said oh my gosh that's epizote! He explained what it was asked if he could pick some, which he did, and we grabbed some too! I have no idea how it got there but I think there are still some old seeds that I might try to grow. It can't be that difficult to grow considering it was growing in our Rock covered driveway
I love ur intro so much
So i wondered why chef made that shirt comment , then it hit me, the bowl has his reflection on it lol !😂 0:46
