- This custom Zierer Tivoli coaster just goes on and on, but there's no better way to see all of Nickelodeon Universe at the Mall of America than riding Pepsi Orange Streak.

As a little kid there was no line for this ride, so me and my cousins rode it over 30 times. LOL
I remember when I was smaller , I wouldn't go on any of the rides and finally I decided to go on this one and I was terrified! Fast forward to today , Im a dare devil when it comes down to rollercoasters :D

It's tame for the most part, but if you sit in the back you get thrown around a lot and it's pretty fun. :)

Just keep in mind it’s very enjoyable to go on. I went on every rollercoaster in that park more than once and I know that this is a pretty fun one. Don’t judge it by the video
When I first went on this I held on for dear life but now it's just a fun ride for me 😄

Not the scariest, fastest, tallest, etc. roller coaster out there, but it looks like it's simply... fun. And I have no problem with that. :)
This ride looks really neat I'll be going in around one week so this is fun seeing everything ahead of time.
It’s so crazy that this coaster doesn’t have one chain lift. It’s all done by the wheels on the tracks (the things that push the sheet of metal forward propelling the coaster forward)
almost hit my face on that platform at 2:15 while screaming happiness off the side. bar went through my hair as i pulled my head back.

I remember when I was about five years old and I rode this, It was called the Ripsaw back then, and oh my god... I rode that thing over 20 times! lol! glad they still have this! it's a piece of my childhood.
So freakin cool that it blew my mind!
I went on this on June 14th 2019,it was so much fun
BEST RIDE THERE rode it 5 times and all of which i put my hands up. cant wait to go again
When I was 6, my dad and I rode this for 6 hours straight one day, while my mom shopped with my sister :D

Is this the same coaster that is featured during the opening scenes of D2: the mighty ducks where they are skating through the mall of American picking up Averman as they go through scooping all their friends ?
I took my mom on this ride and she totally FREAKED OUT and screamed the entire time, and the 2 people sitting in front of us turned their heads around and laughed hysterically!
I'm terrified of rollercoasters, but the next time I go to MOA I might go on this one
Y r u terrified. I understand the fear. But if u go and this one and it’s fine, maybe go on the next scariest one. If u aren’t comfortable that’s ok. That’s how I stopped being scared of big rollercoasters. And if u try one that’s a little scary, you will probably see that the only thing about the rollercoaster is that it’s scary. I bet 1,000,000 dollars u could go on the rock bottom rollercoater and have fun without getting hurt
I got peer pressured into going on this one. I hate Rollercoasters with my life, but this one wasn't so bad. It went really fast through the rough turns and it makes it feel like your head is going to be whipped off, but other than that it was pretty good! Ps. It goes WAY faster than it looks in the video jsyk:) Also, I'd try getting one of the front seats because the back ones get whipped around a lot:)

As a little kid I was sensitive to roller coasters but less now and used to enjoy Playland when I was younger in Rye to do log flumes and rides also at that amusement park.

This was the first roller coaster I ever went on! I was 11. And the only one I ever managed to convince my mom to go on with me...😂😂😂 We live in California, but we go on toad trips to the Midwest every summer to see family, and I insisted that we go to Mall of America. It was a lot of fun! 😁
I just went on that one yesterday. That was the first time I'd been on a roller coaster, it was fun.

@Dreamsthrea west ed is awesome the amuesment park is called galaxyland and if u wanna look for a video of the triple loop coaster its called the "mindbender" =) amazing ride!

@TalonStormCrow Yeah. First Camp Snoopy, then Park at MOA, then Nickelodeon Universe in 2007. I know that because I used to live in Bloomington and before we moved, they were tearing the park apart so they could put in 4 new rides and re-theme everything.

@GJdude8612 yeah, it does seem that way..and Jaguar is a little more intense, but offers a similiar effect..I have to admit the dark ride aspect was kinda cool..

I just saw the it was the "Ripsaw." LOL I guess I should read more comments. This was the first roller coaster I rode. It was back in the summer of '92 or '93. I was scared $h!+less before, BUT loved it. Looking back, it's pretty "lame" compared to things like The Texas Giant, and The Titan, but I bet it is still fun to ride.
How does it work now a days, do you still have the point system, where you scan a bar code ticket?
@edaliah3 it's HUGE!!!! I loved it when i went. the sights, sounds, smells and the nice people made me want to move into the mall. If u do go, u will LOVE IT!

This and the High Roller at Valleyfair are great choices if you're new to rollercoasters:-) This one is meant for families, not Banshee or Superman Ultimate Flight fans lol
is there one on the brain one where you go in and you flip around and that was better then all of the rides

Did you have to ask permission to film this? And how did you film this ride so that the camera didn't shake around at all? Very good man!
@martinist2005 That used to be the old ride that goes through out the indoor theme park at MOA and no its not slow.

I could fall asleep eating a bowl of noodles on this coaster and when I woke up at the end of still be okay
I remember once I was on this ride I saw someone stick their hand out and it hit the pole thingy (next to the ride at 2:15). I wonder if that broke their hand or what

This is a very fun ride, however I went on it several times back when the park was still Camp Snoopy and I remember it going ALOT faster. I think that when the park transitioned over to Nickelodeon Universe, they slowed it down in order for it to be more kid friendly. stupid move but still, a great ride
+josh storms You can't really slow down a coaster without adding trim brakes. And as you can see on the track Pepsi Ripsaw does not have any. It just felt faster when you rode it then. And I'm sure it feels faster when you are actually riding it rather than watching a video.
Fair point but I respectfully disagree.I live in MN not to far from MOA and have been to this park thousands of times (since I was 3) and have ridden this coaster a lot. They may not be using trim breaks, but I can assure you this ride is much slower now. IDK if they did something to the cars or track, but it is not as fast as it use to be. Non the less its still a great coaster.
You have to actually BE on the ride to experience it... Everyone keeps saying "this is so boring looking" trust me whenever that annoying train car or whatever thingy moves to the left or right it literally feels like your going to fall out of your seat
