My dad bought a 127 1-year old trade-in back in 1972. It came with a mower deck, snow blade, single stage snow blower, double iron wheel weights, and the setup for a single botton plow blade. It has been a family heirloom ever since.
Nice little machine there and what a score on the box blade. My 147 is getting close to being done as is my #40 box blade. You aren't kidding, mine was tough to find and I've never seen another one around here. I've got the 42" mower deck for mine, but it looks the best with the box blade on. Thanks for showing off yours.
Thanks, I’ve been on the hunt for one for a long time…. If I ever get the time to repaint, I have 3 125s that are all close in serial number. Would be cool to have them all painted up together
I think its neat and different where they choose to install the light switches! That (tractor) was built in another day the time when things where just simpler and practical period !
I like the ones under the dash as well, out of the way but you know they are there. This was the last series they had them there, they then moved them to the key area from there on out. Some machines the lights come on as part of the key
This is back when things were made to last. I still have my 1964 simplicity Broadmoor I bought in 67 from Lenz mower servise in battle creek mi from PAPA JOHN the dad and owner. Also have a restored H20 Bollens I bought from Hilderbrand marine Salvage in Coldwater Michigan. It was originally a 1480 or something like that but I wanted the H 20. So I bought frame rails, dash and hydraulics that were po ertsnant to that model. Found years later the 2 speed rear completed except the Sustraned hydro that fits. Did find one in the Massey Ferguson model but main out/ input shaft would need changed. Has a 54 in deck. Snow plow and snow thrower ( brand new). Roto tiller but found it was for the little model. Hooks up different Oh ,and have the trailer and bagger system for the Broadmoor plus original flyers and manual for it.
The old machines will last a lifetime and then some. I wish they still made machines to last, now everything is made to be thrown out once broken. Those sound like cool machines!

That is awesome! Definitely hang onto that one. I hope to one day find a 1 owner machine with a cool story!
Very nice, never let that baby get out of the family.

I like that back blade. That would look good on the back my twin 147’s.

They are great tractors. Very easy to work on and pretty reliable. You should definitely get one!
