Focus gets down. Love it.
Hope to see more of this car. Same basic setup as my car.
Had an EVO X attention grabber the way I had it, sweet ride no comparison. Had a WRX, looks nice but ehh. Had a Built motor ST pushing 420whp back in 2013-2014 was hurting Corvette feelings. Also had other cars 550i, STS V but the ST was the only one I missed and it stayed on my mind so I got me an RS, FBO, NX2 turbo making 440whp E30 stock block, sold it after 2 years no issues and got me an F150 3.5....Once again the damm RS hunts me so again got me another RS. Learned my lesson...Dont know why but the RS is by far a Fun daily!!!!!!
I bought my RS new in 2016. I can't let go of it. I can't seem to find a new car that is as fun, functional for daily driving through snowy winters & summers and take out to track days. I've been in a few other cars but I find the steering numb on most new cars which really mutes the experience along with most cars now going automatic. I'm full bolt + meth and probably going built engine, EFR turbo etc. soon.
I thought the RS engine couldnt handle much over 400 due to the open deck block?
Do yourself a favor and get tuned and built by Adam at tune plus inc! He’s the best on the ecoboost platform! He built a 600whp fiesta and 1000whp ecoboost mustang using a ST block but it’s still a 2.3 anyone with ecoboost should be hitting up tune plus! I’m at 420whp stock engine nx2 , e30 tune. And currently getting a 1000whp long block and transmission! Gonna be sick!!
@@Paper.Power.Politics weird how the st’s block pops at just under 800whp 🤨
@@sketch10buildz yup it does. That’s why it’s darton sleeved. Just under 800whp is ok the factory sleeves. I hate it when people think I’m lying , I get so much hate. It’s capable of running a 1000whp. Now would reliability and longevity a question , possibly, but it’s definitely Capable of 1000. Will I be running that all the time? Absolutely not. For street I’ll be pushing around 700whp+. It’s running a xona xr 105 69s. It’s a 11000whp+ turbo. It’s definitely a unique build.
I love that most fast Evos are just wheels and maybe an aero mod or two..but otherwise unsuspecting. My 2016 Focus St has about 500whp and its really hard to tell WHAT is actually fast these days. There was a fully bolted/tuned 2024 RS3 two days ago heading to the same station go get E85 (after talking, we're both actually on an E60 tune)...i couldnt hook on the turn around and he just took OFF... didnt get a chance to run for real but after hearing how much the stock block/turbos can make, I was blown away that he was basically fully stock looking. Only major downside to these new cars (M4's, RS3's, etc) is their mods are ridiculously expensive... my Focus was MSRP of $23.5k, maybe $8-9k or so in mods (built engine, big turbo, etc), and he paid $72k for the car stock, then spent about $15k on mods..that is insane 😅 but man what a beautiful, unsuspecting car. Like this Evo, mad respect! I try not to let ppl get me down to a 2nd gear pull, or a low 3rd, its just not worth it as Ill just spin all day even on 265/35/18 Goodrich RE71's
Focus gang💪💪
I Hope theres more vids coming 👌
What mods do you have? Are you on any of the groups forums etc
bro were those first clips by Vista/SM???
nah I don't have to ask that is lmao, good shit
Nice run. I wonder what the evos set up is.
id be willing to bet its probably 3576
Nice kill!
Yeah not kill bud. Only won when he jumped.
@@oFiGuReZo salty much?
@@tmidz87 Just the facts. Sounds like you’re the salty one.
@@oFiGuReZo I not the one hatin. 🤣 I didn’t even remember what video this was.
@@oFiGuReZo was the last run not a dub for me? Didn’t jump there
SMESCO👀
How are you liking those stage 4 cams? Thinking of putting them on my 2.0 build.
I like them. my tuner has the tune dialed too. Driveability is great and pulls hard all throughout. You really should do some porting to the head to take full advantage of the stage 4 cam. Otherwise stage 3 cams will suffice just fine
😤🦍🦍👏🏼👏🏼
I see you are on the race star fronts, what size r888r?
The r888s are 255s
What ar is it on the g30-660? I just got this turbo and slapping it on my stock motor lol
.61 ar. I’d be interested to know how well it spools with a 2.0L
that turbo and the stock bottom end will last about as long as Britney Spears and Jason Alexandars marriage 🤣
Badass brother! What engine again?
This is a 2.0 ecoboost with a 2.3 Stroker setup, so it should have a 2.3 crankshaft and rods, and 2.0 pistons.
Thank you! I built it myself 2.0l block with forged RS internals
@@Magnasynn you need to use 2.3l pistons as well when stroking a 2.0
Well I was incorrect there! My car has a SP63 2.3 stroker setup.
@@Magnasynn that’s what’s up can’t go wrong with SP63!
You have any xdi stuff ??
I do not. Just radium 4 port aux fuel with ID1050x port injectors
What can these cars handle on a stock block?
The 2.0l ecoboost in the STs have been known to hold about 400whp reliable if well taken care of. They’ve also ben pushed upwards towards 480-500whp on stock internals but not for very long haha
700-750 for the stock block, 400-450 stock internals
How the hell do you keep all that power to the ground😂 the ST is sweet tho
specs on the front wheels
whay tire and size you runnin
I’m using toyo R888rs 255/40 on the 17”wheels not the best grip but definitely hooks up well, these r888s VS my 255/45 Michelins pilot sport 4s the car is a lot faster with the added grip
What tranny are you running? 👀
It’s a upgraded trans from Clarke Transmisions. I have a Wavetrac LSD in there as well as upgraded synchros
That Evo with those short gears racin at 60 was silly for him to do that ..coming from another Evo x owner I wouldn’t of did that 😂
We both knew that, and that’s why we did 40 50 and 60 cause this was friendly, it was silly of me to try a 40 roll with the tires I had, and he won. The ST is very hard to get traction with so much power. 60 roll is probably the best roll in my car and his is a 40 roll
@@draddest4712 same...my '16 ST has about 500whp (limited by the BNR3071) and anything under 50-60 i get mad spin (even with 265 wide RE71's)..granted i never put in an LSD which might help the torque steer.. but the V8's always wanna go down to like a 40 rolls and get me at first, but it doesnt last that long as top of 3rd/4th Im long gone lol.
Your first mistake for the guy In the ST is not getting built and tuned by Adam at tune plus!
Your first mistake was commenting this bullshit
Adam is not as great as you’re pushing lol ultimate Goats of the platform are Nishan at Sp63 and Brian at JST, along with Alan at edge. These 3 are the most known for high hp ecoboost setups, especially nishan. He was the first one getting ST’s to 600+ whp and made a 2.5L stroker kit to make hitting 1000+whp extremely easy. There are more horror stories about Adam and TunePlus than all 3 of these tuners combined.
@@dame-2888 yeah I don’t believe that. I think top two guys are Adam tune plus and Jessie at ems..
@@Paper.Power.Politics Alright lol
@@dame-2888 I’ve had nothing but great experience with Adam and when I have good results with something I usually tend to stick to them, I have a 420 wheel horsepower eco-boost mustang right now with the next two turbo tuned on 830 by Adam had a run so smoothly so efficient IBG teasing scat packs all day long call I’d really like Adams work and I’ve had nothing but good experiences with it caught but to each their own every builder in tinder has their own tricks up their sleeve and their own knowledge and experience which might give them different ages to being better than the other and some different categories or Variety
