Hey chief! I don't know if you remember this, you taught hydraulics in my final year of engineering at HIMT, in 2018. And in the same year, you were my interviewer at PIL. I got selected and I'm giving my Class IV exams now. Imagine my surprise when I came across this video and your channel! The concepts of hydraulics that you taught me in 2018, stuck with me. And now I have started watching all of your videos. Thank you for sharing your valuable knowledge!
Thank you very much, Ramesh Sir, for this very clear explanation regarding Tacho system of ME engines. A great teacher always explains complicated things in simple ways which is easy to understand and surely you are one. I had earlier checked many videos on the subject and was really confusing. Thank you once again. As some one else earlier requested, a video explainig propeller curve would be of great help.
by this video I can't understand how the crankshaft position known. because finally with 4 sensors we can know with error of 45 degrees. so how to know exact position. because lets say elfi valve and booster must know for ignition. when is the no.1 piston is before 8 degrees of tdc ? can you explain it too?
Every pulse is one degree .So pulses after a marker correspond to the angle of the crankshaft..Ine of the marker is at TDC of No 1 piston....it is explained in the video...
Quadratures are counting each angle continously. Markers operate once in a RPM.They serve as the reference points. How much angle after No 1 TDC is a information you cannot get without the markers..Anyway,Thoda mushkil hai bhai..Ek baar mein samajne ke liye Bhagwan ka aashirwad chaiye.Average people like me--- It took quite some time to understand. .:-) :-)
Sir you are doing best job by making videos for juniors.
Very good video. Angle Encoder concepts has been explained in a clear and concise manner.
Phenomenal understanding and teaching sir🔥....watched all the ME engine videos fantastic explanations Thankyou so much sir❤️
You are a absolute GEM .

nice to hear that
Thank you sir
I have gone through so many things for tacho and angle encoder but the first time I saw the exact explanation.
Thank you for the effort to educate many of us, Ramesh. Docendo Discimus!
Great content, please keep making more videos. Your videos are so helpful to all seafarers.
Ramesh, fantastic video. Great way to introduce the concept. Keep up the good work.

Thank u so much chief
😂 how did you know sir? I always go for 1.5x or 2x. Listening to you felt like you were telling me personally.
Thank you sir.
Thanks sir
Great video, so by my understanding if one of the tacho system fails, the position in respect to the angle can be found till 269 degrees only?
Waiting for your 100th video Chief. Keep it going
Sir please make video for BWTS......
