Great video and info , I sell mostly all lines of Ralph Lauren. It will all sell, but try to get the lower end stuff at like a dollar. 😅lol

Sorry, here’s a better explanation
1. **Space Between Words**: This applies AND logic. For example, searching `baseball card` will return items containing both "baseball" and "card."
2. **Comma (,)**: Indicates an exact sequence of words. For instance, `baseball,card` will find items with the phrase "baseball card."
3. **Parentheses**: Use them to apply OR logic. For example, `(baseball,card)` will show items with either "baseball" or "card."
4. **Quotation Marks (" ")**: They require an exact sequence of words, so `"baseball card"` will search for that specific phrase.
5. **Minus Sign (-)**: Excludes words. `baseball -autograph` finds items with "baseball" but not "autograph."
6. **Asterisk (*)**: This operator substitutes for one or more characters, but is no longer supported.
7. **At Sign (@)**: It's used for more complex searches, like `@1 baseball autograph card`, finding items with two of the three words listed.
8. **Plus Sign (+)**: It concatenates a query string using AND logic with another keyword. For example, `@1 baseball autograph card +star` would look for items with any two of the words "baseball," "autograph," or "card," plus the word "star."

Roll Neck is a good keyword. Even basic cotton sweaters do well with that.

One thing you could try to get more accurate search results with overlapping words; if only wanting to search “Ralph Lauren” and exclude any “Polo Ralph Lauren” results, in your search, put a subtraction symbol “-“ in front of “Polo” (“-Polo”) and it should filter out any results with the word Polo in the title.

Adding on to that tip (and apologies if you already know this), if you put something in quotation marks, like "Lauren Ralph Lauren", it should only search for posts with that exact wording. Though you may have to sort by Most Recent or something like that, instead of the default Best Match (seems counterintuitive, I know).

Try putting Lauren Ralph Lauren in quotes so the search only returns that exact string. For example:
"Lauren Ralph Lauren" sweater

Just curious what browser you use for eBay or a recommendation on how to keep eBay from streamlining results when you sort low to high/high to low. When I sort by either of these sometimes 90% of the best match listings disappear and it skews sell through results as well as the bottom of the market when I am looking at active listings. I need to price at the bottom of the market because I am running my store out of my dorm room as a freshman in college, and I have to sell through my store at 200%. I have been researching how to keep eBay from streamlining my results and I can’t figure it out, any suggestions would be much appreciated because it seems your numbers weren’t skewed.

I use chrome. I have to say up front that ebay is very janky as a platform. The app data varies wildly from the desktop site, which varies wildly from the terrapeak data. It's been this way since 2005 when I started. All I can say is try logging out of your account when you do hardcore research at home, I always do that. It is a habit I picked up from the SEO world when Google will skew search results based on past search history. Not sure if actually matters here but try it. Also you can clear your browser history in chrome or be lazy like me and use CCleaner which is a free tool that dumps your cache easily. Not sure if any of this helps but I fully relate to sell through needing to be high. I have a small garage and I try to keep my 90 day STR at 50% which is a challenge...200% is a worthy cause good luck!!

So far the first semester of college I have been selling 4 items a day with a 220 item store, which is about 160% sell through in 90 days, so I’ll do everything I can to keep that sell through high, and I appreciate all of the free information. It will be fun watching your channel grow, because it is bound to happen. Happy holidays.
I personally have seen and been picking up Polo in the thrift for 40 years. Polo is timeless, just walk through a major department store and Polo has a section--why? Timeless. The display items that are bright and eye catching are a dead give away. Also when you hunt in the thrift, feel the item, softer even worn/time distressed items have a better appeal even if it is plain. Why? Even polo tries to, just like levis produce a "worn" or "aged" /vintage look on a garment. Little holes, that fraying on the cuff, adds character. Just things to look for. Oh, just a reminder that the brighter display items went for $150 when they were sold new back in the day.
Its a solid brand that will continue to sell for years!
