    to those complaining about price on here but all WWC are 100% aquaculture as they say on their site. Your money goes to helping reduce the hobbies impact on the reefs. The more people who buy aquaculture coral the cheaper the prices will become.
    I just got 11 frags from them for 200$ which I think is a great price and all are doing well in my QT.

    • @eegernades
      @eegernades 5 лет назад +1

      Got 16 for about the same price from my lfs. 3 of them from this video like the blueberry field as well as the Yoda and rainbow monti. Those three were $25 frags. You got ripped off.

    Can you define what you mean when you reference high, med, low light (PAR wise)? Also high, med, low flow (turnover rate per hour)? I've seen these concepts vary widely among reefers. Thanks!

    coral is subject to some regulation in the United States.  Requirements under these regulations include declaration and licensing permits from the United States Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS) for importation/exportation and additional declarations required by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) upon import.  Certain materials are prohibited altogether.  Violations of these laws can result in significant penalties, including delays in clearance, costly fines, seizure of goods, and possible jail time.

    lol @ the people whining about the price. If you’re on a tight budget, maintaining an SPS tank (particularly an aquacultured SPS tank) probably isn’t for you. The corals themselves only form a small part of the overall, ongoing expenditure associated with tanks, plumbing, energy, pumps, skimmers, fuges, LIGHTS, reactors, dosing, feeding, cleaning, water changing, ATOs...

    • @Tbobization
      @Tbobization 7 лет назад

      do u recommend to get dosing pump before or after buying sps coral?

    • @mrsaltwatertank
      @mrsaltwatertank  7 лет назад

      Tbomb you dose once the tank needs it. The tank needs it when you can't maintain your tank parameters through water changes.

    • @akhilennium
      @akhilennium 7 лет назад

      Tbomb No, not before. First, get good testing kit. Test the levels of Ca, Alk and Mg. If they're low, dose these elements to desired level. After you add these corals and once their growth kick starts, these levels slowly start to decrease, then you can start dosing. Do manual dosing first to understand how much these corals are consuming these elements. Then you can switch over to dosing pump.

    • @um02122
      @um02122 7 лет назад

      Jacob Side Like that would help you identify the exact coral. Seriatopora hystrix: pink or green. And anything in between.

    • @ness6765
      @ness6765 7 лет назад

      You don't need species names for care purposes just the genus. The common names help identify different color morphs, they serve a purpose. When you have dozens or hundreds of corals you can't just call them all green acropora tenuis, you have to come up with names
