Hi I’ve been meaning to do this with my keyboard. My keyboard seems to have 5 wires. 2 black, one white, one green and one red. I’m not entirely sure what to do with the other black? The jst connector that plugs into the pcb somehow manages to include all 5 of these wires. So I’m not entirely sure what to do. Any guidance would be helpful thank you!
heya, planning to try this, but my keyboard has 5 wires which is blue, black, white, green, red do i just connect them based on colors? or should i just ignore the blue? if im not wrong, the blue is connected to "R1" in the pcb
Pa-assist sir. I have 5 wires. red green white black then another black (open copper wires). Ignore ko lang po ba ung black with exposed copper wire and proceed with the 4? Do you have other means of contact sir?
Could you explain me the wat colour to connect with what in written form i didnt understand also tell me how many cables does the adapter have and how much i have to ignore pl this was helpful i have shared it to my frnds
Basically you only need 4 wires. (Red +5V) (White data+) (Green data-) (Black Ground) I cannot tell you all the wires you should ignore because each USB type c extension might use different color on some wires. But this are the colors you have to focus on red, white, green and black on your keyboard and USB type c extension. You only need 4 wires. some new keyboard has 5 wires. (If your keyboard has 4 wires just skip this part. if you have 5 wires on your keyboard use a tester. Assuming you already cut all 5 wires from your keyboard. Plug your keyboard USB cable, Switch your tester on DC connect your tester red to red. You might have 2 black wires try each wire until you get +5v. If you got the +5v then that's the one you should use. so again (Red +5V) (White data+) (Green data-) (Black Ground) those are the wires you only need on your keyboard and USB type c extension the rest ignore them. Good luck!
Parang type c female -> usb from pcb Ung sa inyo po kasi if tama ako pagkakaintindi type c female -> middle wires -> usb from pcb

Thank you po. Sana naka tulong ung video.
Do you have double black wires? to find your black/Ground wire use a tester just strip the wires you need to test to avoid short circuit. connect to USB port then connect your tester red wire to USB wire red/+5v. then black tester wire to one of the black wire on USB wire. try each black wire until you get +5v. If you don't have tester use a Led light or a pc fan try same method until you get a response from the LED light or fan. if you don't have any. Just try to take a good look each of the wires. you only need 4 wires. The wires you'll need have same shine or smoothness.. I hope this would help you.
