    Nice video. My family has several LX Lexii in our herd and have for many years now. One of my 2000's I drive every day just rolled over 395k miles. I just sold a '99 LC with 470k miles and my '96 80 series LX has 504k miles. They are not perfect but not far from it. Certainly amazing engineering and design.

    Louis, if your side mirror adjustment switch is set to the middle position it will disable the tilting side mirrors when going into reverse. If you set it to the left or right mirror position it should make them function. Or you could just have a gremlin!

      of course they no longer make the LX470, but a low millage 200 series will last a long long time. Its so hard to find a low millage LC100 or LX470. The GX 470 is a great used option as well.

      @@loutwo I must say, low mileag 100 series LX/LCs are overpriced and overrated. Low mileage means it sat too much and I assure you they can have more issues than high mileage hundys that have kept moving parts polished up and moving like they were designed to do.

    Nice Video - my 100 Series 12/2002 will pass ½ Million Kilometers this season. Here in Switzerland I daily tow a 3k trailer with it since 2010. Not one single issue so far. All 15’000 quality Oil, every 200.000 clean the automatic gearbox and do maintenance as written in the manual. Every single button or gadget still works 100%. AHC aswell! The only thing I would say is not too good engineered: brakes!!! They are to small dimensioned for this truck. Especially when driven with a trailer in the back. My 100 series is probably fully equiped and equally with the Lexus LX in the US. The leatherseats still are in shape, still first exhaust!!! All the best for you in Dallas … keep cruising and never sell this rock. 😂

      How much did you pay for it? I’m looking for one with similar miles in really good condition no rust but there asking 20k…

    • @Flightline_
      @Flightline_ Год назад +1

      @@DISTHEBESTYO I work at a used car dealership and paid wholesale from a trade in so I'm not not a fair comparison. Though I would estimate based on a clean no rust example that is unmodified and with working AHC to be 12-15k at 200k+ miles. LX values are declining since the covid spike but are always going to demand a premium. No rust examples are always valued higher, and there are a lot of people who will go to great lengths to get a warm climate LX.

    • @Flightline_
      @Flightline_ Год назад +1

      @@DISTHEBESTYO forgot to mention 03+ are more valuable as they have slightly more hp and a 5 speed transmission, and 06-07 are the most sought after since they got a 30 hp bump with the addition of VVTI. So those factors also will play a role in the price.
