Thank you, Sean. My only visit to France was naturally Paris. My stay in France was only for a couple of days. I cried when I entered France, my father so wanted to visit it. He dreamed of it. He spoke of it with longing often but he was unable. His great-grandfather was from the Normandy area. My father would have wanted to visit the small towns and villages and take in all their history. You have taken me to where he would have roamed if he had visited. Places where videos are not usually made. Places I will be unable to visit also. Once again thank you.
The stained glass windows are done in verre de dalle/dalle glass, a technique invented in 1930s in Paris that uses shaped slab glass and a concrete/epoxy matrix. A fairly common window treatment in new builds and some renovations.
You certainly do take us to some beautiful places Shaun and I love how you share the history of the area. This village near the water reminds me of England.❤ Great video Shaun and it was lovely to see Jasmin and Jack with you.
Wow the more you show the more I fall in love with all the villages and scenery in France, what beauty and tranquility. Can’t imagine what I did before you started your vlogs. The Pethericks, Ryan and I’m also following “travelling with Russell” who takes us through Russia and the scenery homes for sale shopping centres, expo’s etc etc. just another way of life I’ve never imagined. Love seeing it all. Wow those burgers were awesome.
Ahhh time away from construction videos, I don't know how I got stuck watching all you guys (you, Billy, Ryan, Sadie, Moe, Michael and the others) it just started with searching for abandoned Castle's and now... I love these kind best though but I'm an older lady so crack on if you must...fact is I'm afraid I'm going to miss something 😅.
Thank you for taking us along! I found your video so interesting that I had to look up the history of this little village. As a hobby weaver I would love to try some of their cotton yarns.
Really takes me back to my 20s when i was stationed in France. Narrow roads, lanes next to waterways, villages, 2 rail concrete fences....grocers, bakers meat stores all separate small business. Jombon ham and butter sandwiches, oh la la!
Really enjoy your little excursions to such beautiful places. Your work at the cottage is coming along quite well. Was wondering if you and Billy will be working together again, enjoyed those episodes as well. Enjoy your weekend.
Thank you for taking us with your family outing to that charming village. I love visiting the small villages in France when I travel to Europe. There are so many great places to see in this world. As parents it’s so nice doing things with your adult children, isn’t it? I love being included in their outings or vacations and now especially with my grand babies! Loved your very peaceful day. xx
Absolutely beautiful video. The theme of the video seemed like a father daughter excursion. My daughter is nearing 30 and I have a relationship with her that is so delightful. You seem to have a similar type of relationship with your daughter.
Hi Sean, Jasmine and Jack, thank you so much for this video, it is so nice to get away from work, and see the beautiful surroundings around you. Thanks again. Love from N.Y.
Thank you, Sean, for another great trip into the country. I love these trips. I appreciate y'all taking time from your visit to show us around. Y'all have a Blessed day.
I love the church. The glass was definitely different, nothing quite like that here in the US. I would love to be near the lock and the water like that. I love ginger beer, have one for me!
Thank you for highlighting the beauty that is France off the beaten track. As a French I get frustrated when people only seem interested in seing Paris. Appreciate that you do this even if they don’t bring you many views.
Such a beautiful little village! I would have come away with some books for the little book shop. I can’t resist! And oh my what a delicious looking meal you had!
Thank you, Sean and your family, for sharing your trip to this beautiful village. These slices of life in France speak for themselves. Cheers!! Chuck in Northern New England
Hi Sean, what a lovely place. I appreciate all you share with us as I’ve never had the opportunity to visit France. So all is very exciting to me. Thank you so much ! Love to you all & not forgetting lovely Sam. Greats videos Sean. Keep them coming Lisa xx ❤😘
France is beautiful. I’ve been there two or three times, I think its 3 times but I’ve never been down to the southern part. The ginger beer looked wonderful. One of my favourite drinks.
This was a wonderful interlude video, in the midst of all of your cottage projects. Thanks for showing us around. We simply don't have quaint or medieval villages like that in the US. 😢 Also wonderful that you got to spend the day with Jasmine & Jack!
We were there yesterday. Last year we walked along the river behind the weaving factory and found ancient lavoirs, still in good condition, which were obviously there for washing the cloth.
Hey Sean. Just wanted to let you know I got my bread plate. It’s wonderful and I can’t wait to show it off in my home. I love this kind of stuff and can’t wait to see more of your adventures! Thank you! LAISSEZ LES BON TEMPS ROULER!
Hi Sean, Jasmine and Jack, what a beautiful area, thank you for sharing this we us. Never been to France and probably won’t ever get there, 72 years young. But never say never 😊🫠🙏👍🙋♀️
There are lots of vlogs and videos available showing the “hot” spots in France. IMO, these of yours showing the quieter, daily life alongside history is much more appealing. I enjoy the variety of your vlogs very much, whether brocanting, demonstrating your carpentry (and more) skills, gardening, exploring the buildings on your property or spending time with friends and family and the chat and information in each. 😊
Oh Sean what a wonderful adventure you took ys on Thank you and Jasmin for taking us along. I absolutely loved the architecture and thr water features. The shop was fantastic I could have spent a whole week there and never ve bored. I can't travel but through you I am able to see places I have always dreamed of. Thank you again for making this old ladies dreams cone true.❤
Oh my gosh!!! I love when you do the road trips. Thank you so much for taking us along. You were about 1.5 hrs from La Haye-Pesnel. My family immigrated to US from there.
what a lovely little place, and that church was very cute - shame those windows weren't visible from inside... i would love to see the shop where you had your ginger beer - looks like the kind of shop i'd love to run one day!! the barn-church-manor house looked very curious - would love to know more about that.... tnx for taking us round, with your lovely daughter and son-in-law!
Sean, thank you for taking us there. It was beautiful. Yes, it was like a fairytale. Too bad we couldn't see inside the church, I bet it is beautiful. Those burgers looked yummy. ❤

So glad that you got some pleasure from this video 📹 they are not the most popular, but l still feel they are worth showing 😚
@@Seans_Worldlove seeing the hidden beauty that you find in the French countryside. Thank-you for sharing.
@@Seans_WorldAbsolutely worth showing for us who would rather travel vicariously than renovate vicariously 😂. Thanks! 🇨🇦
Just love quaint old towns like that, totally unspoiled, with no concrete facades and large un natural glass-paneled windows.
Keep up the tours Sean.
What a lovely village Sean. Thanks for bringing us along.👍

I love this change of pace, Sean. You find some special places in rural France. You and your family are lucky to be there. All the best. ❤
