The discussion about the big picture is so helpful. We're into our second year homeschooling with Memoria Press and the education my kids are getting is relevant and substantial. Thank you all for the quality materials and the information about them.

New to MP and absolutely love learning along side my children. It is the education I wish I had. I’m working towards creating a co-op/university model school using MP and love all the resources MP offers. Thank you!

I love that Memoria Press emphasizes that they produce a Latin=based curriculum, which secondarily includes ancient Greek.

Great discussion. I am 7 months pregnant and am looking for a homeschooling curriculum. So happy I came across MP, however I wish it were tailored more to a homeschool setting rather than classroom setting or offered another classical education curriculum more tailored to homeschooling.

Hey Sally, thanks for reaching out!
While we actively test our curriculum in a classroom setting before releasing it to our homeschool families, the central focus of the curriculum has always been to educate children at home. Our program was built by a mom for moms, by homeschoolers for homeschoolers.
Beyond the curriculum, we have a network of specialists available to discuss the curriculum, options, and how it all works in a homeschool environment. We also have our homeschool liaison Carrie McGraw to provide insight, support, and mentorship. And finally, our grade-specific curriculum guides help parents map out the entirety of a homeschool year. Our Classical Core Curriculum is designed for the homeschool, where most of our success stories have come from.
While the curriculum might seem challenging, homeschooling moms and dads have told us that our curriculum fills them with a sense of trust that their child is being filled with the joy of learning, unlike anywhere else.
We'd love to talk more in detail with you about this new season and the new adventure you're about to undertake. Feel free to reach out at (502) 966-9115 or shoot us an email at sales@memoriapress.com
Thanks so much. We hope to hear from you soon!

I have to make an important point on the learning of Latin. The primary reason for learning Latin in the Middle ages was because the Catholic Church only allowed Latin translation of the Bible. They killed anyone attempting to translate the Bible into the "vulgar" or common languages. It wasn't until Luther that anyone was truly successful. The secondary reason was to be able to learn the Romance languages easier and to study the ancient literature of the Romans.

I was just curious is this the first roundtable video?

Hey there! Yes this was the first roundtable for Classical Et Cetera. We pivoted away from 1 on 1 interviews to the roundtable at the start of Season 2.
