Episode 4: Next Step Ministries
Alexandria Hicks is the Executive Director of Next Step Ministries. Their purpose is to provide refuge, advocacy and education to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and the broader community. They operate a Safe House for victims and a Thrift Store. The store contributes just over 50% of the agency’s total annual income and provides guests and nonresidential clients the opportunity to shop at the store at no charge. Often times, guests come to us without much more than the clothes on their backs. Donating to us ensures that we will have inventory to meet the needs of our guests of all ages and sizes.
