Yeah true I paid 11 tolls from Bangalore to Goa one side in 700 km
Also from Chandigarh to Delhi there are 5 tolls in just 250 Km
Bangalore to goa 9 toll ..total cost 480..Chandigarh to delhi 4 toll total cost 245..

India don't have long expressways like USA and Canada, that's why there are many toll booths. Most of the expressways in India are very short, mostly in and around Delhi NCR and UP. The under construction Delhi mumbai expressway which is more than 1000km will have only two toll booths and smaller booths on exits in between the highway.

@@kaustubhraizada you didn't get my point. 94.5 km is too short compared to expressways in US and Canada which are thousands of kilometer. India's longest expressway currently is agra lucknow expressway which is 302km and it has only two main toll booths.

Once we were on expressway in our Mercedes-Benz GL450, we didn't see any city, we covered 800 km(New York to Brampton) in about 8.5 hours. in India, 400km take 8hrs to reach (Jalandhar to Delhi).(This time includes stops in between).

Replace your air suspension with good coilovers, it will become more stable to ride plus when the car is standing for prolonged time it will not give issue like there are issues with air suspension.

toll charges of those countries are low because a majority of the population pays taxes, but here only a handful people pay taxes so toll is collected almost everywhere.

Tolls in India have to be there coz people dont pay taxes unlike in US and Canada. Percentage pf people paying taxes in India is not even one fourth of US or Canada. Thats y govt has to resort to such measures to collect indirect taxes. Wish we Indians were more honest to pay taxes atleast

In Canada you have to get your car registered every year, insurance is way more expensive. Most of the people pay tax there. Whereas in India very small population pays taxes, so how is government suppose to maintain the expressways ?
