      There were alot more of them shiners that I had to edit out. If only I had brought catfish gear on this trip.

      Wish I could do more panfishing before it gets too cold out there. Right now, trying to manage fishing and hunting at the same time. Not enough time. lol

    Okay, where are you fishing now, looks like Snodgrass just a bit closer to Walnut Grove Marina? Come on let the secret out! Much nicer slabs, Can you use shiners as bait, frozen or live?

      HI John! You are right, we were still at snodgrass slough. This was east of the Walnut Grove Marina. To answer your question about the shiners, you can use the shiners for bait. I have done so in the past and I tend to catch largemouth bass when live baiting them.
