Glad to hear you're having success out there! 2 lb line is risky for those big ones, just make sure your drag aint too tight and tire the fish out when you hook em before trying to land them.

Yes Sir! I have other products, but these flex bugs have been tearing up all species of fish for the last few months. lol

IN this video I was mainly using the 1.5 inch flex bugs. The chartreuse and white flex bug only comes in the 1.5 inch size. The smaller 1 inch flex bugs only come in white or black.

During Winter, I am after trout and sturgeon. I dont chase the stripers until the spring months. I would definitely recommend checking my striper videos from earlier this year which could be helpful.

@@lexn321 Yeah they did stock it in November, but they stocked it again in December. I'm sure of it. I've been seeing that the website you're referring to is not being updated regularly so i wouldn't go trust it.

I was using Trilene here in this video, but I have a bad habit of switching lines ALOT. One thing you can do to reduce wind knots is make sure your fishing pole and the lb line you use are compatible with your jighead weight. Wind knots occur more often if you have a stiffer fishing pole trying to cast a light jighead as a result of you trying to throw as hard as you can. If you have a light fishing pole that flexes alot, when you are casting, the flex in the rod helps launch your light jigheads out there further without causing wind knots. HOpefully this makes sense.

This was 2 weeks ago now. But they have stocked this pond again last week so there's fish in there right now.

When I'm using dough bait I'm using size 8 j hooks, I use treble hooks for powerbait and 1/32 oz or lighter jigheads when using lures.

Dont get me started on the DFG. They want the public to enjoy the fishing opportunities they provide from the proceeds from the purchases of our fishing licenses, but they also dont want to let us know when they are stocking these fish. What happens then is these cormorants get to eat alot of the fish before we know about the stockings. SMH
