Brigitte's condo is #LIVINGGOALS. It’s beautifully decorated with a combination of rustic charm and vintage cali boho finds. Their living space is small, which means storage is everything.
Her current bed from Ikea is great. The bed has 6 underbed storage drawers that make it completely functional for Brigitte's space. What I love about Ikea is the multiple pieces the bed comes with, meaning that it’s the ultimate relationship tester when building but it ALSO means the current headboard is completely removable without even touching the part of the bed that works. If you pop that headboard off, we have a new blank area to give this bed the style it needs.
I propose an IKEA hack, remove the top headboard from the bedframe and replace it with something vintage, beautiful and wooden. This is the ultimate DIY solution to any homeowner looking for a unique, one-of-a-kind space -- and it’s super simple to accomplish in one day!

I made a headboard from an old door.
I added a piece from an old buffet w a small mirror on top. Have had it for 10 years and I love it!
I’d love to send you a picture of my headboard but I don’t know how to. I also turned an old door into a sign in my living room and a 3rd door I added spindles and made a Christmas tree! I guess I love old doors!
i literally have one of those 5 pannel doors with the framing and trimming brought it for 15$ and its from 1920s with big crystal knobs only has 2 to 3 layers of paint

So what do the French clips do?
It’s a great but incomplete video. I don’t know what French cleats are but I would have liked to see how you hung that to the wall.
How dare you use screws to affix the french cleat to the door? WITHOUT crediting the GREAT Archimedes for his invention? Without him it would be impossible to apply force using a helical shape!
It's good to see the woodprix has new instructions to save my money and energy to build it.
why would you not cut the bottom rail to match the top rail width, its noticeably a door now that looks off centred, this is about as piss poor an effort as simply turning a door on its side and doing nothing else..

This is a copy of someone else’s RUclips video. She changed a few things and calls it her own without giving credit to the original guy. Check out Brandon Lund’s channel AKA Beautiful Headboard.. You should be ashamed for taking credit for someone else’s work with you adding differences to yours. SMH
