Beatcity is not the Japanese Championships. The winner of Beatcity gets a spot to GBB24. Beatcity is a top 8 battle. 7 beatboxers qualify by winning one of 7 regional live battles all over Japan. The 8th spot goes to a wildcard winner. 4 wildcards qualify, these 4 do an elim at Beatcity at the first place elim gets the 8th spot in the top 8 battle.
