I have no idea why people are criticising so much here about the technique you have used but i think as an avid foodie i have had many biryanis in my life and this recipe turned out to be extremely good and very easy to make. No pungency of the turmeric you added which people are writing about without even trying. Thank you once again and keep doing the good work. Hats off.

I made this twice and followed all your tips, and for the other viewers that are wondering "kachhi haldi ka taste to nahi aayega?" I want to assure you, bilkul nahi aayega. Bindaas trick follow kijiye. Bohot tasty biryani banegi. All the best.
I tried this recipe today I'll tell what all things went wrong when I tried it (I used the exact same instructions which he did) 1. There was very less / no salt It was only when I tasted the masala I got to know that there's very little salt in it . 2. Add a little more water while cooking the chicken . 3. I gave it a smoky flavour which happened to be the dish saver as the flavours mixed well with the rice. 4. Don't go for the exact timings that varun has suggested. When I made it my biryani got stuck to the bottom of the utensil. You can always use a pressure cooker Hope this helps when you cook yours!
Never use pressure cooker for biryani i have mentioned the steps to cook biryani first u have to marinate chicken and grill it on barbeque or pan post that gravy should be made and rice should be boiled once the gravy is done chicken should be put in the gravy , then comes the assembling of biryani with layering the timing should be 10-12 mins for dum that's it following this steps will make the biryani authentic

I haven't seen other chiefs par boil their briyani. Instead, they soak their rice for 30 minutes. Can you show us how you par boil? How much water to rice ratio... Or, for how long? How to know figure out when the rice is cooked enough? Thanks.

It looks like pulao, the rice looks quite mushy like pulao or khichdi. The essence of biryani is long grain and separated its not looking like made professional chef
It's biriyani bro , pulao was made like mixing the chicken, raw rice and poring water to them to cook . Here the rice looks like pulao because of low quatinty of rice and the chicken gravy came out a bit of extra quantity so it appears like that 😊👍
@@mdvlogs5281 I .know it's biryani but what I meant to say was it's not looking like biryani the technical reason u gave is right but the real essence of biryani is long grain fluffy separated. Rice should not look sticky moreover tikka biryani has 3 steps first u happen to marinate the chicken after the chicken is either grilled on barbecue or it's grilled on pan post that gravy needs to be prepared and rice is boiled and strained then the grilled chicken is put in gravy and that it's layered with rice leaving it on dum for 10-15. Min following this procedure will always give u authentic biryani.
what does "parboiled" mean? In the ingredient list it says "half cooked". Do I take it as literally meaning that? Also, the 300g are weighted before or after half cooking the rice?
I think par boiled in this context means you half cook the rice in water along with some salt, drain the excess water and then layer it on top of chicken. Then it will cook completely along with Chicken. Also, 300 gms rice before cooking it.
