Noise Surge is nuts. It completely removes the CD's on all 3 of her songs and you just tap those to the beat. Every tap is a pulse of damage in her AoE. Range being the same as her base kit. Hits everything in range like Bunny (without High-Voltage). When her inspiration is maxed, it does a mass of pulses for a moment for a burst of damage. Songs of course lose their buffs to allies but instead each has a different buff to Luna to help her DPS in a different way. Essentially, Luna is now a Bunny v2.0 (in a sense). Very good for mobbing.

Oh, and shields are quite amazing. HP > Shields > DEF. DEF is still good, but it really falls off and a lvl 40's base DEF along with just the substat rolled gold on your Memory component is all you need for DEF as you'll already then have about 25-30% damage reduction from DEF. Unless you're Ajax, you don't need to really ever build DEF unless you have nothing else to get. HP of course is best because it scales hardest and even buffs heal cubes since those heal based on % of max HP. Shields are next best. Do not scale hard, but recover on their own. You do really want the In, Out and Recovery substats rolled gold to make Shields recharge at a respectable rate, but it is really worth it. You will generally survive more with building shields than you will with building def. Especially on Luna, who isn't building for Skill Power and the like, all those extra slots can be used to stack HP, Shields and even DEF to make her stupidly tanky while she gives her buffs out..... (of course after Range and the like to actually help her kit....).
@@blackkat101 yeah I’m just a certified shield hater haha. I hate that there’s no way to regenerate it reliably and for some reason shield leaves a bad taste in my mouth, but maybe it’s best I give a shield build another try and see if maybe we can get along this time 😂😂
@@Eefann Oh, it definitly cannot replace HP and it will generally be at 1/3 the amount your HP is, but it is really nice to have once you have the regen substats on components for it. Having 10-20k HP and a self regenerating 6-7k shield is super nice to have and makes you tankier than having built any DEF. You again though do want some DEF, but a gold roll substat is enough. No mods, no mainstats on components. Of course some characters do better with Shield, like Enzo becomes immortal with it since he actually can self regen his shields with a skill tap. Or if using a Bionic Fuel Bunny, which locks her at 10% HP, means you don't build HP at all on her and build only shields and get Shield Collector. No need to force yourself to use shields though. They just have a bad rap because of all the people calling them useless on the release of the game.
@@Eefann Will add, DEF does not affect element damage enemies do. On normal mode, Colossi did mainly physical DPS, with only 10-20% of what they did actually elemental. Which is why DEF seemed so great when you started playing. However in Hard Mode, the bosses do half physical and half elemental. Making that Super High DEF stats people built mean a lot less. HP and Shield, which add bulk however becomes even more valuable (as Elemental RES is still kind of pointless to get as you get so much more survivability from HP and Shield... and one should rather get MP an Shield regen on their components than Elemental RES.....). As poisons and all tick damage isn't physical, DEF isn't going to help from those either.
She’s definitely worth giving a try, I had a blast playing her and only wish I had a way to kill more enemies without giving up my buffs (the transcendant mod give me offensive capabilities but I lose my support mostly). Let me know how you like her if you try her out and thank you for the support! 🫶🏻
for that xantic slot you can probly also run the new module arche concentration for luna since you're not worried about your own firearm atk and increases your def and such, but potent collector seems like a nice touch as well so probly just personal pref

@@Eefann idk really, xantic slot is generally a support or arche/effect kinda slot so you can do a bunch of different options (collectors, energy, etc) i figure it seemed like they just added that module because of luna's release tbh so it made sense to have the xantic slot open for her to use it. how they playtest and character develop is normally different though cause gamers always look for the max dmg output possible, while they usually intend certain playstyles when creating the character
required stacks=2 which means for every 2 stacks you get you gain a 10% skill range boost, so at max stacks of 20 you would get a 100% skill range boost since 10x10=100. If a skill says it has a maximum range increase of 200% that is the maximum from all sources, so if you have a 300% increase through this and mods you would still only get the 200% increase for that skill despite having a higher amount available in your equipped kit.

I’ve been seeing alot of ppl say her dps version isn’t that great basically with the dps mod. Kinda wish it would have buffed dps better considering main time u can try farming for it is endgame. More so than her
I wish they would buff her tbh. She's very underwhelming but i still want to main her. I was excited for her release but after working it out it's dull, makes me wanna take a break tbh
I understand that, lets hope they can implement a few changes to make her more accessible, but her kit overall is pretty good! Also, if you need a break take it! Don't burn yourself out, we're meant to be having fun!
Not sure who I should tell this but potent collector seems to be bugged. If you ever go over your cap on resources you go back to 0 without getting to use your enhanced skill.
You have no idea how much of a pain she is to use as a console player - I feel like they really need to re-visit how you proc her skills because staring at the screen to make sure you don't miss a note whilst also trying to move and dodge is not fun.
It's interesting that you like Gluttony fight which is the complete opposite to everyone on reddit recently because the boss damage is too high. DISCLAIMER tho, im no where near Gluttony, im stuck at Frost Walker :')... so i just genuinely want to hear your humble opinion about that. Is the boss really that unfair?
Gluttony is definitely a difficult boss especially if you are going to run it in a public operation with random players and no comms. I think the hardest part of the fight is surviving, if you can master avoiding his attacks, then the mechanic itself isn’t that bad, but it requires teamwork as well. It’s much harder than any other boss in this game including frost walker!
@@Eefann harder than FW gah damn T^T... The moment i fight Frost Walker, lost and then learnt about their mechanic i knew for sure i have to invest into a boss killer right now. Finally got Ult Gley and im building her to use Afterglow Sword for weakspot. Once i got her all decked out i hope it was really worth it because damn she is expensive to build.
I was super excited for her and got her right away. But her unique weapon is pretty bad making you have to sacrifice DPS to give your teammates a little boost. The buffs aren't worth it until the enhanced buffs. Most teams would rather have the extra gun in the fight rather than get a small buff for a few seconds. In infiltrations it won't be a huge deal but in spec ops and colossi fights she will just be dead weight. Her enhanced buffs are great and super useful butt you have to spend so much time casting the other buffs before you even get to the enhanced buff status. I tried different builds for her but it's better to use Enzo or Yujin to buff your teammates because you can give them a boost AND still deal damage. I was so hyped for Luna and I love the music she plays but losing all that DPS just for buffing your teammates for a few seconds isnt worth it. Im going to keep trying her because I want her to be good. Her damage mod might be where she shines but I haven't gotten it
Check the video I did also, I covered this as well and stated that she is very good at support but at times where you need to help with DPS or add damage you need to have a good weapon and know how to build out said weapon. Which I reccomend enduring legacy tbh

But I have good weapons but her buffs just don't seem worth ever using because you sacrifice so much damage you could be doing to give a tiny buff to the team IF they are In your range
@@TiredEyeBags Yeah ! Compared to tamer / thunder cage it felt right to me. I think in the future nexon might see some of the concerns around her and update/fix a few things because compared to everyone else, I genuinely like her. My only complaint is if I am going to be stuck in the buff mode and can't use my gun then they need to buff at least the first ability a bit to help with DPS.

It can go above it stat wise but doesn’t apply past that range, that’s why I said don’t overmod into range stat, but when we were testing the range of the buff it didn’t apply past 20m. I’ll double check tho and let you know in a minute here!
@Eefann unrelated to the skill range thing but what are you those on the new mod, Arche Concretion? The move speed penalty is offset by nimble footwork, and you get 39% more mp at max stacks along with the defense boost.
@@nhhsband That would be the logical outcome. Wouldn't make sense to have a range of 24 but the buff doesn't apply past 20. If that were the case, it would have to be a bug.
This video is amazing but man is it depressing... I was looking forward to Luna but it just looks like she is a ton of work for very little payoff. She does almost no damage, takes forever to get her guage outside of ult, the buffs have super low duration even moded with small benefits (enhanced buffs should have like double the duration), You can't ever use your normal weapons, the penalty for messing up a note is massive (MP, cooldown, guage reduction), To top it all off there is nearly no way to make her better because no mods work with her kit.. TLDR: 3x the work for half the effectness of literally any other descendent.
You could run any collector but you’re not kill anything yourself and from my understanding I need to be killing to get the HP, but if not then it’s a great choice for the xantic slot!
@Eefann I just used potent collector when not using her 1. The resource bar doesn't drop. It will drop after u activate her skills and use and / or fail the beats as normal, but until u activate her skills, it remains stored. now this could be a bug, but for now, why not? lol
Is there a map button for xbox controller on pc , when i pop her music i can only fire to hit the notes and it seems to fill my bar slow. When i use mouse and keyboard i just tap the key and it fills so fast i zip around on a floating disk.. what am i missinf
I didn't watch the whole video because Luna's playstyle is not for me but of the parts I watched I was mainly going, "yo that Blair in the background is goin crazy"
The potent mod does work, I was able to kill enemies without having my unique weapon out and gain charge for my inspiration gauge, I only got 1 charge per activation of potent collector tho and the chance was so low it was almost not worth it. Unless getting inspiration gauge by kills (without stage presence equipped) is supposed to happen and an interaction for her!
so they had to take the idea of a musical descendent from warframe ( Octavia ) but the cool thing about Octavia you compose the music yourself using her Mandachord. If anyone is curios just type Warframe Mandachord songs on youtube and listen to what players compose it's insane.
By trying to make it less confusing you’re doin too much “word salad” and losing people like me who understand the first time you explain things. My advise is to do short explanation first as a run through then go back and expand on the different points.

I'm sorry but there's only one way to play this character and that's using her unique mod that turns her abilities to damage types. The only thing this build is good for is meme buffing boss kills
Not everyone wants to play dps and ignoring the obv buff she can give is kinda silly. I've played with multiple groups where I've seen and been told how much of an increase in damage they noticed, and bunnies also stated that they never ran out of mp when sprinting allowing for higher uptime for damage output on their ult.
@@GodHexe kind of silly? I have almost every descendant and I don't need any buffs from any other player to do anything in the game. So you're kind of silly comment is kind of silly. I mean play how you want to play but with this build you're not going to be soloing any bosses or mobbing unless you have somebody doing the killing for you which is kind of silly

Good job on the video. Im a Yujin main to help support the team in bosses but this video made me want to try Luna out to support on the field.

Just so you know, her buff range can go above 20m. I have 186.7% range and her skill range is at 24m.

@Eefann I just used potent collector when not using her 1. The resource bar doesn't drop. It will drop after u activate her skills and use and / or fail the beats as normal, but until u activate her skills, it remains stored. now this could be a bug, but for now, why not? lol

Is there a map button for xbox controller on pc , when i pop her music i can only fire to hit the notes and it seems to fill my bar slow. When i use mouse and keyboard i just tap the key and it fills so fast i zip around on a floating disk.. what am i missinf

caps out at 20 so if you can drop the 4m would be the same range in terms of buff range!
Potent mod doesn't work, alot of buff mods don't.
The potent mod does work, I was able to kill enemies without having my unique weapon out and gain charge for my inspiration gauge, I only got 1 charge per activation of potent collector tho and the chance was so low it was almost not worth it. Unless getting inspiration gauge by kills (without stage presence equipped) is supposed to happen and an interaction for her!
I dont see her be good or usefull anytime soon.

so they had to take the idea of a musical descendent from warframe ( Octavia ) but the cool thing about Octavia you compose the music yourself using her Mandachord. If anyone is curios just type Warframe Mandachord songs on youtube and listen to what players compose it's insane.

By trying to make it less confusing you’re doin too much “word salad” and losing people like me who understand the first time you explain things. My advise is to do short explanation first as a run through then go back and expand on the different points.

I'm sorry but there's only one way to play this character and that's using her unique mod that turns her abilities to damage types. The only thing this build is good for is meme buffing boss kills
Not everyone wants to play dps and ignoring the obv buff she can give is kinda silly.
I've played with multiple groups where I've seen and been told how much of an increase in damage they noticed, and bunnies also stated that they never ran out of mp when sprinting allowing for higher uptime for damage output on their ult.
@@GodHexe kind of silly? I have almost every descendant and I don't need any buffs from any other player to do anything in the game. So you're kind of silly comment is kind of silly. I mean play how you want to play but with this build you're not going to be soloing any bosses or mobbing unless you have somebody doing the killing for you which is kind of silly
