By far, the best hitter ever! And the most feared hitter of all time. Barry Bonds was just so much better than all the other players of his era. In his younger years he was a great power hitter, outfielder, and unstoppable on the bases. In his latter years he had every pitcher figured out. He's the only player to be intentionally walked with the bases loaded.......ever..... Baseball = cheating......all great players broke the rules in some way. As a baseball fan the critism is unfounded to me, and his greatness, dominance, and talent are to be admired

Almost all professional athletes, except maybe the pure speed guys (who probably take other types of stimulants.) Yes, even golden boy Jeter. And It's rarely ever to even get stronger, it's to stay strong.
it's for recovery. baseball is really hard on the body, playing 100+ games a year where you're only utilizing the fast-twitch muscles in part of your body in short bursts. Pitching is even worse. Very little cardio but lots of force exerted quickly will wreck your body over years.
There will NEVER be another player like Barry. 762 hrs and over 500 stolen bases. Hit over 300 nearly every year. Pete rose is the only modern hitter to compare in my opinion.

Baseball’s greatest era was the Barry Bonds era. San Francisco Giants games weren’t just baseball games during that time, they were spectacles that brought America together. I live in Florida 4 time Zones away and every TV in the bars would turn to Barry Bonds at bats live. Some of u are idiots. Lets say he took steroids...U STILL HAVE TO HIT THE DAMN BALL!! It doesn't give u better eyesight. It doesn't give u better hand eye coordination. Not to mention, there are so many players before him that took it and are already in the hall of fame. Regardless of what u think he did, he's still one of the best hitters, ever! Babe Ruth would drink before a game. Not to get drunk but to help him play better. Once u get a little bit, u feel less, u play loose and feel stronger. Wouldn't that be an illegal substance? I don't see anyone trying to tarnish his name. Leave Barry alone. He was a great player whether u think he took steroids or not. Sosa took steroids but did he hit 700 homeruns, steal over 500 bases and play his position at the highest level? What about Conseco? Didn't he take steroids? Where is his 700 homeruns and 500 stolen bases?

He is a legend. People overate steroids. They don’t help a player make contact or draw walks. These were 2 of the best parts of his games. Also steroids don’t even help that much with power because he was jacked anyways and power is mostly hitting the ball with the right part of the bat
Him cheating in baseball is always going to be the main topic of Barry Bonds. But what I don't understand is the man was NEVER tested positive for any illegal drug that he was claimed to have taken. He was very entertaining, just being apart of that homerun chase was awesome!!
This... idc if it's 4 years later. This is the real point. The man never tested positive and anything that he did before the bans should have no bearing whatsoever. If it's decided that protein shakes are an unfair advantage 20 years from now will that destroy every player right now? Gtfo

Don't say that it can happen someday.
Griffey would have trumped it if not for all the injuries....
I think if Albert Pujols stops getting injured he has a decent chance
StarkPvP True...he's getting pretty old though.
***** Give me one reason besides "OMG HE'S SUCH A CHEATER ROIDS MAKE YOU SEE THE BALL, HIT THE BALL, RUN FASTER AND JUMP HIGHER" Because it's bullshit and you know it.

Greatest hitter I’ve ever witnessed. Period. Dude is a sure fire HOFer.
Being a Giants fan and going to those games as a kid was unbelievable! Hate it or love it, BARRY IS THE GOAT!!
His swing is absolutely perfect in every way. Yes, he was most likely on PEDs, but he might have been the greatest talent to ever play the game.
The greatest ever, he has records that most players in today's game won't ever accomplish.
The Homerun record isn't his but yeah he was one of the best for sure.
Best player to ever play
You need serious assitance.
@@billcarson1651 you just don’t know baseball. It’s okay.
Bonds maybe the greatest baseball player ever!!! 7X MVP!!!
Bonds is the GOAT! Argument isn’t close. Roids or not he did it with or without. Im grateful to have seen him play many times and personally witnessed #600 when I was 6 years old!
762!!!! SF Giants for life!!!!!
I loved watching Barry Bonds. He is one of the best baseball players ever. The steroids dont make you hit, they give you stregnth
From what I heard, steroids just makes your muscles recover quicker, so that you can workout harder and longer.
true, but I'd doubt Barry would have passed Hank on the HR list without steroids.
Barry Bonds is one of the best all around baseball players ive ever seen(steroids or not) besides Ken Grifey Jr.
Sorry dude he was better than Griffey, Ruth, and Aaron.
@@ryaneb1370 I think Griffey had the most natural talent of all time. I'll always believe that. But injuries derailed him. With that being said, Bond is the best hitter of all time. Roids or no roids.
Barry Bonds imo was the better player even before the roids. Usually had a higher BA, was a way better base stealer and also like Griffey, was a GG Of'er. Also struck out less than Griffey.
Without his roids Griffey would be the best, but I’m not sure if Griffey himself was 100% clean
@@leemcelhenney4550 Bonds had more homers, stolen bases had a higher BA and OBP during his pre roid era from 1990-1997. Griffey had a few outstanding seasons but Bonds was still the more consistent player.
His swing was impeccable. A swing truly from heaven💯‼️
I used to watch this video all the time when I was younger, I used to think Barry Bonds was some kind of superhuman and I love this music too! :D
I used to be like the general public, thought that steroids use was a black mark on the game... then I finally realized, they all do it. Almost all professional athletes, except maybe the pure speed guys (who probably take other types of stimulants.) Yes, even golden boy Jeter. And It's rarely ever to even get stronger, it's to stay strong.
+mrmajikjr precisely
not to mention college and high school kids as well
Testosterone also improves mental function and focus, hence its particular interest to sluggers.
Wrong
it's for recovery. baseball is really hard on the body, playing 100+ games a year where you're only utilizing the fast-twitch muscles in part of your body in short bursts.
Your opinion is shit.Bonds took roids, and he was playing in tiny ballparks with balsa wood bats, and still only hit 400 foot hrs.
@@sodapop5455 Inbred jealousy!
And both should be in the hall of fame
Lmao, I encourage you to take some roids and try to hit a 90+ fastball. Bet you look stupid
soda pop the guy literally played in at&t and pnc park. Not hitters parks...
Greatest hitter of all time, peds or not, there is no hitter who has ever struck the kind of fear in a pitcher that Barry Bonds did. Hall of fame.
That's ridiculous
+Noah Day intentionally walked 661 times in his career. that's more intentional walks than 49 hall of fame position players had total walks in their career... pitchers were TERRIFIED of Bonds
Trollberg is that you?
Baseball’s greatest era was the Barry Bonds era. San Francisco Giants games weren’t just baseball games during that time, they were spectacles that brought America together. I live in Florida 4 time Zones away and every TV in the bars would turn to Barry Bonds at bats live. He usually walked or hit a historic homerun that made whoever caught it much more wealthy then they were before they had that baseball in their hands. McCovey cove was literally like a pirate cove, only the pirate’s gold was the baseball’s he was hitting. He doesn’t need to be in the HOF for me to know he was the best to ever play the game. Thank you Barry Bonds for the great memories!!!
Bonds belongs in the Hall of Fame, just off his talent alone. It’s a shame it will probably never happen. Best hitter I’ve ever seen.
The greatest of all time...Three MVP's BEFORE roids and four after.....Thanks for the memories Barry
steroids or not bonds homers were fun to watch !!!!!!!
Trueee
i remember watching barry bonds as a kid and damn the excitement i got when i saw number 25 coming to the plate was unreal. either getting intentionally walked or cranking the hell out of the ball. what a legend.
Greatest left handed hitter I ever saw and pretty amazingly gifted athlete
His swing is so ridiculously smooth
Barry Bonds has one of the most natural swings in baseball ever.
Indeed
Nothing natural about using steroids. Griffey had the most natural swing.
@@doughill6579 steroids don’t make your swing natural dumbass also steroids don’t make you have an elite eye, great contact, and it also doesn’t make you automatically good
Best hitter and baseball player of all time.
How many rings did he win? Oh that's right, none.
+jdspreest . Unfortunately he didn't..but still the best individual hitter and baseball player of all time. This guy did it ALL..gold glove defender and we both know how terrified pitchers were of him! Best hitter of all time! It was almost impossible to strike this man out. Barry Bonds is the GOAT!
Baseball is mostly an individual sport so you can't measure a players greatness by rings.
jdspreest all you do is hate on Barry, he got you traumatized or something 😂😂
Bonds is the Greatest player to ever play the game !!!!
Barry Barry Barry Barry Barry Barry Barry Barry Barry Barry Barry !!! That chant will forever be in my mind and so will the vision of the great Barry Bonds and man amongst boys !!
Tragedy that he isn't in the HOF. Thanks Barry for making me fall in love with the Giants and baseball as a kid. I remember listening to a game on the radio and he threw out a runner at home and then hit a walk off HR to win the game. Can't remember exactly which game it was but that was a cool memory none the less.
Barry Bonds did not need steroids, he was already amazing and heading to the hall of fame
Barry Bonds was the only ball player i ever watched where it was unthinkable that he was going to be an out. He was either going to walk or get a hit. Not Griffey, not Trout or any other ball player has put fear into an opposing pitcher like Bonds.
3:12 one of the greatest calls I've ever heard in my life 😂
This one is heading to new jersey 🤣🤣
I’m 32 and I’m so sorry that kids nowadays weren’t able to witness this mans greatness. He was almost hitting homers every at bat you seen him. He made baseball games exciting every night he played. He and Griffey are my favorite players ever.
Barry Bonds is inarguably the best player of all time
Could make an argument for Griffey Jr
You can see that he’s getting stronger every highlight
And his head gettiing bigger
The Best Player Barry Bonds!
Sterioids didn’t help him track and hit the ball. Just helped with strength and stamina. He still had the skill to be a baseball player.
I agree. I will admit, the extra strength for sure helped him hit a few extra homers, but I don’t doubt he would have ended up with at least 600 without the juice
I love how people come in and say that he was great without steroids like it's disproving everybodys point or something. No you're right he was a hall of famer without them. Absolutely! So he didn't need to take them.
By far the best baseball player I have ever seen in my lifetime
He was so much fun too watch man... absolute legend.
THE BEST PLAYER IN THE HISTORY OF HISTORY
The greatest ever!!!!
Second song?
I don't care what anyone says..They can't erase history. They may not include him in the hall of fame, but Bonds is legendary. Well done Sir 👏🏿.. Well done
I don't care what anyone says. This is one of the best hitters of all time. Living Legend! HOF in my book.
Hate it ot LOVE it.....Barry Lamar Bonds is one of the BEST baseball player ever!
Please note: During BALCO and MITCHELL stuff investigation against him, this guy homered 149 times and received 636 BB, 75% IBB. :)
It actually does Improve hand eye coordination and reaction time while your on it. But who cares everyone did it. He was just the best at it
Kean Everest No, it does not enhance hand-eye coord. Reaction time I'll give you because you gain stronger reflex, but hand-eye? lmao I have to disagree.
As a personal trainer I talk with steroid users daily...it increases awareness dramatically.
You're fucking stupid
John Hurley Pujols sucks now because he doesn't use roids...fuck face
None of you even with roids all over your asses would play half what Barry played, he was insane
Not without steroids he's not
MrPacker1234 he was the GOAT before he started juicing. There's no giants fan on this planet that will disagree with the accusation of steroids use. but damn he is still my favorite player of all time and nothing can take that away.
If he would of never taken anything he would of still been one if the greatest ever. But you cant deny he used.
MrPacker1234 won 3 mvps without roid multiple gold gloves and also had better stats then any roid user by far so ur clearly a 5 year old hater and never got to see bonds play I never did either but ask anyone who did
He is a legend. People overate steroids. They don’t help a player make contact or draw walks. These were 2 of the best parts of his games. Also steroids don’t even help that much with power because he was jacked anyways and power is mostly hitting the ball with the right part of the bat
I'm not a big baseball fan and I don't follow the sport but this guy was the man!! Go Braves!
Do some research on the sport. He used peds or he never eould have gotten what he got.
"There's a long one to right field, forget about it! This one's headed for New Jersey"
Barry! Barry! Barry!
Anyone know how many fishes Bonds killed?
😂😂😂....Im sayin though..... I couldn't believe what I was seeing
Same as birds Randy Johnson killed.
Barry Bonds is the greatest baseball player of all time
greatest player I've ever watched
1:30 goddamn
Him cheating in baseball is always going to be the main topic of Barry Bonds. But what I don't understand is the man was NEVER tested positive for any illegal drug that he was claimed to have taken. He was very entertaining, just being apart of that homerun chase was awesome!!
This... idc if it's 4 years later. This is the real point. The man never tested positive and anything that he did before the bans should have no bearing whatsoever. If it's decided that protein shakes are an unfair advantage 20 years from now will that destroy every player right now? Gtfo
"Sleep is a drug "by Steve ouimette is second song
Finally!
One of the most entertaining players of all time!
You are indeed sick.Get help.
Greep Bulleep home runs = entertainment. if home runs don’t entertain you then idk what will. even if he juiced for a quarter of his career, he’s still the most entertaining player
No.You should be ashamed of yourself, sickie.
The most feared batter of all time. The greatest hitter of all time, and the greatest baserunner. No man ever went 400/400 rather than 500/500. A class all his own.
