Your technical knowledge on art is really amusing! I find it difficult to even decide what colour I should paint my shadows, I don't know how you do it

Thank you for creating such an informative video! I am a landscape painter and have been trying to make sense of color wheels and gamut mapping ever since I read Color and Light, but it wasn’t clicking until I saw your video. I really appreciate the way you explained your reasoning for each action you took. Well done!

The green around the eyes surprised me so much. I thought this can't be right, but at the end it all fit together so nicely. It's like magic

Yes color is relative so its tricky to see it individually because it always looks off on its own

This video is astonishing....truly. I wanted to solve the puzzle of how to put together a limited palette for a portrait I have drawn. The universe brought me to your super informative content and I was mesmerised watching you paint that gorgeous portrait. Bravo!! A talent indeed!

James Gurney is amazing! No wonder youre so good when you choose such good people to study.
This video is amazing btw. There are not enough people doing conceptual videos like this with actual paper and paint. There are plenty of digital art videos like that, but i love gouache so i prefer your style. Keep it up.
