Hi AShadowboxsFSX, Thank you for a great video! This have given some insight as I have had this package for a while but have just not had the time to figure it out! Keep up the great work and videos! :)
Regards from South Africa
Awesome, such a great video and simple tutorial with the most essential information. Great! I'm looking forward to learn the ERJ. Still a fs2004 player but i guess its the same there as well.
Thank you so much this helps a lot. I want to start getting into it more like this with the planes.
Great Video. I am currently learning the erj 145 from Feelthere as I am flying for Metro Air Virtual. Lots to learn! Also cool to see you flying to KGRR. I live in Grand Rapids.
Thank you, Ken! Best of luck to you!
Great tutorial! Thanks!
Thanks for the advice and support!
You saved my life with that FMS
Glad you figured it out!
Great job really helpful!! Keep it up! New sub!
Just bought the game and a good joystick for it. Now I just need to learn how to fly :)
Keep on the good work :)
didn't have to use the number keys, just had to go to the throttle quadrant. figured it out, thanks a million
No problem, that's what I'm here for!
Check your key bindings. By default the pitch trim up/down keys are Numpad 7 and Numpad 1 (if I remember right). The value shown on the central display (with the arrow, number, and bar) should read 6 or 7.
if u want to know what sids stars and approaches to fly, you can use flight aware and see what pilots in the real world use, u can also use flightsim commander 9 or you can guess by seeing if the transition is your first waypoint. u can also use approach plates on skyvecter
thanks alot, saved me big time,
Thank you. It worked
Hey for sids and stars there is a great flight planner sight that is free it's called sim brief gives you the route and the sids and stars
It would be immensely helpful to me and many others if you would show exactly where the pitch trim switch is located.I think some installations may be defective because this switch seems nowhere to be found.
Also, I forgot to mention, after I film part 2 of this tutorial, I am going to do a "flight basics" video with the game's default Cessna 172. Hopefully you'll stay tuned for that!
Good evening ... I would like help with regards to the installation of the feelther EMB 135/145. I installed in my flight simulator x ... but I can not tighten on the butons etc
I've got an AirHauler LP episode coming up tomorrow morning :) Thanks for your support!
hi man could you tell me where is the auto breake level like 1,2,3 and RTO or low med high and RTO format in this airplane
Thanks - this helped me a good bit - the only question I have ( and another guy looks to have asked too ) is how to get your virtual cockpit camera views to switch up so smoothly? I can't seem to figure it out. I have to view the 2d panels to do what you're doing.
It's an addon called EZDok camera
Hey i love ur tutorials man congrats !!!! just wondering can u tell me which program for camera do u use thanks (:! and fly safe for sure ...
great tutorial fella, have this aircraft but only messed about with it, not flown a real flight yet, too scared..lol..im used to the PMDG 737, 777, and 747 also Aerosoft airbus too so this wud be a big change for me, also is there any way to change the flight attendent announcement voices so she speaks with a british and or australian accent? voice packs i mean...
ok man...I think i will do the same as you! :) thnx again!
yes, this is FSX. It's been a long time since I've even known where my FS2004 discs are.
I think I might have to. What do you hit to automatically bring up the checklist? and Do you have any feelThere tabs? when you hit alt.
How do you set the trim, I can't seem to figure out how.
Hello. I did everything you did up to the point where the copilot calls for speeds. In other words, when I calculate the speeds, I do not get the set takeoff data message from the copilot.
Great video, but to start they don't assign a SID or a STAR to you those are called "Vectors", and they are addressed when ATC gives you a heading or altitude. However they can tell you to go directly to a SID or STAR waypoint or VOR on your flight plan that you have filed. Example if you are taking off they might not give you a heading to follow after takeoff, but instead give you a Waypoint in your flight plan to go directly to. Anyways you said you are still learning. Just offering friendly advice. Other than that great video and keep doing what you are doing. i'm enjoying it. :)
I'm still pretty shaky on the advanced FMS stuff. Once I have it down cold, I'll put a video up. I don't know when that will be though.
No problem!
at 4:48 the copilot calls for trims. How do you set trims for takeoff? I cant seem to figure it out
How do you switch the view to the different panels?
To bring up the checklist it's shift + 6
I figured it out, I had to set the trims to 7 and I got the set takeoff data. Now how did you set it up so that when you click on the apu control and it starts automatically? In other words, how did you turn on the apu in just two clicks of the mouse?
Aren't you going to do an advanced fms tutorial?
Hey friend, unfortunately I don't know the answer to your question. I just make a flight plan within FSX and click the "import FSX flight plan" button. I don't use any other program to make a flight plan.
How do you get knobs to turn they will not for me
do not start your engines before pushback, Subbed.
how do you set your vertical speed?
Okay, thanks
hey what happened to your infin8lives channel?
Hi there!...I would like to ask u a question...from where do you get the flt plan (i mean like routefinder, simrouter for usa, and others...) ....because with the erj i cant perform a nice flight since with routefinder the fms , apparently, doesnt work....I mean when i am on the point of see my route with the SKP button the route is pretty f@cked up...pls help me....
what happened to the infin8lives channel?
SIDS or STARS are basically departures and arrivals into your airports, very simple. Go to Airnav.com/airports/KTOL or whatever airport and they are there
It's weird I don't have the voices nor do I have the checklist when I click on it.
Can we update the AIRAC, if yes how ?
Sorry, I don't know what you did wrong. Try calculating the speeds again, or just restarting the checklist in the Call! menu. Like click the name of the checklist twice. If that doesn't work, try heading to the feelThere forums. I'll PM you a link.
How did you get all of the screens to power on and the 2D cockpit to work? Mine are just black
You have to go through the start up procedures. You can't just start the game and start flying. Also I can't really help you apart from what I show in this video because it's been a few months since I've played FSX - it doesn't work on my computer anymore :(
+AShadowboxsFSX How do I get feelthere erj to install on my FSX steam? I just bought steam a few weeks ago. Also, I am having trouble downloading airlines and FMCs in my FSX steam for windows 8. How do I download for windows 8?
this modele has autobrake (1,2,3 ,rto) I cant find it
where did you buy this from?
10:50 ET stand for Elapsed Time
Hi, I have "CHECK A1 PERF" message. Do you know what that means? Thanks!
Martin O. That means you're not properly set for takeoff because there's performance missing.
I solved it on those days hehe thanks anyway bro.
I use EZDok. Have fun!
he says speed then trim ? i understand speed as you click on speed calculate but trim ? you press buttons to quick please explain as this is driving me crazy thxs
Is this aircraft compatible with the boxed version of FSX on Windows 10? I would like to know before I waste the money on it and have it not work.
CaptainDylan Yes it's work on FSX sp1 or/and sp2
I used the mouse scroll wheel. Scrolled up.
it's available on feelthere(dot)com for about 47 USD.
What is take off trims , i can’t find it
And it says no take off configuration when I’m taking off
How do you set trims in the first part of the checklist. Mine don't come on automatically.
how to start in dark and cold?
You have to run the configuration program for the plane outside of FSX
I have tried everyone's method and this aircraft will not follow a flight plan. I have to manually set the heading every time. Yes I have fms button pressed so the rose is magenta. I did everything u did in this video and still no luck.
Have you read the manual? That is extremely helpful!
+CraftMaster Gaming replied to an old post but yeah I've since figured it out and its one of my favorite aircraft to fly thanks
+Jack Riordan My bad! Wasn't paying attention to the post date! Glad you figured it out! I personally use the longer range Embraer 195. Also from feel there. I purchased it a while back on Steam during a sale.
what if it says no takeoff config?
Check your trim, flap setting, parking brake, or spoilers are all in PROPER T/O config
Do you fly on IVAO or VATSIM?
Nope. I tend to avoid public multiplayer whenever possible (except War Thunder). I *might* use PilotEdge if they ever expand their service beyond California.
AShadowboxsFSX Ah I see, so you prefer easy over realistic. If you're enjoying it, maybe it's time to take things up a notch and get a little more serious.
Wait a minute. VATSIM is hardly realistic. Most of the time I wouldn't even have ATC in the areas that I fly. I find singleplayer is enough for me, neither easier or harder than multiplayer. I can put up with the default ATC if it means I don't have to put up with kids ignoring control and controlled airports being left unattended.
AShadowboxsFSX You've obviously not flown online very much. I don't know about VATSIM, but IVAO is filled with skilled pilots and ATC with densely packed events all the time.
AShadowboxsFSX Also, just take a look at the IVAO web eye. The network is packed with pilots and ATC at almost all hours, mostly over Europe. webeye.ivao.aero/
I'm sorry. Try reinstalling.
this is fs2004
It doesn't take any skill to get SIDS and STARS. Look at a flightplan from Flightaware.com or something and put in the departure and arrival airports and grab a STAR from the routes. OR, look at Belynz (Matt Davies)'s video on how to chose STARs, which also works with SIDS, and it's very easy. You seem like a lazy simmer haha :)
Also, VATSIM isn't filled with little kids. I know some kids who do use VATSIM though and due to what you've said this video it doesn't seem like you would do very well compared to them tbh...
+Callsign_Simba What is Vatsim? Is it like a real-world pilot experience even though you are not a pilot? I am 23 and I just graduated from college about almost two months ago in Business Management. How can I get the easiest SIDS and STARS down without flightaware....i think it cost. Also, I have FSX steam....I don't know how to download stuff on there. How do u do it ? Also, Why would kids be on a program like that.? Should be for people over 18. Kids could ruin things...lol.
1990s were amazing! Wow, what an old comment of mine xD VATSIM stands for Virtual Air Traffic SIMulation. Basically, there's controllers (real people volunteering time) and pilots. There's not always controllers on and sometimes it'll only be a ground controller, but yeah... and there's other pilots too. Simulates ATC pretty well especially when airports are staffed up :D You can use SimBrief or PFPX to flight plan for you too if you want. The rest is self explanatory... ;p
+Callsign_Simba thank You Callsign Simba, you are awesome and you know it !!!
Callsign_Simba also how would you know when to use flaps and let gear down also i am having trouble installing addons to my fsx steam on windows 8 and i dont have a microsoft games folder. how can i add addons?
hahaha lol i don´t look is fsx :)
