I’m proud to have several of these dolls!! The Madame Alexander Elphaba in her act two dress and Glinda in her bubble dress, the Mattel Broadway Belle doll, the Frozen Broadway dolls, and both Broadway Little Mermaid dolls! So for clarification; the first Ariel doll you showed was for the 2007 original Broadway production and was based on her design in that version. She’s very very rare because she was only sold for a brief period before the show closed in 2009. The second doll you showed was made for the international production which played in The Netherlands, Russia, and Japan and was based on the design in that version of the musical. For whatever reason, that doll was also sold at various regional productions in the USA including a national tour in 2016-17 and Tuacahn Amphitheater in Utah, despite those U.S. production not using Bob Crowley’s international costume design.

I love the pink dress tracy turnblad hairspray doll too!!! she is gorgeous!! 💖💕 one of my favorite things when growing up were the high school musical movies and dolls!, i vividly rememer wanting the singing sharpay doll from the second movie. i actually had the troy and gabby dolls from the third movie and the sharpay doll from the first movie, so nostalgic! LOL (i really need them all, even the disney vip sharpay fabulous adventure doll, tough that movie somehow wasnt a musical)

I loved the TV commercials for the movie Annie dolls. Blythe customizers used to steal poor Tracy's body to make chubby Blythe dolls.

I have one Barbie doll as Sandy from Grease, i wanted her because i'm a huge Olivia Newton-John fan, i wish they had made some Barbie dolls from Barbra Streisand from her Funny Girl and Hello Dolly movies.
@@dolls2remember I did like the Barbie they made from Barbra with her Mickey Mouse blouse from 1964, but something was of that face sculp and didn't feel it that was Barbra Streisand to me, but with all the new techniques they're using now to make the head more accurate, I'm hoping for a better version of a Barbra Streisand doll in the future, and yes it would be great to have several Barbie dolls from Funny Girl and Hello Dolly with some fasion packs. 😃

That doll specifically was sold I believe for the Netherlands, Russia, and Japan production because it was when the set designs were changed to incorporate Aerial (no pun intended) stunts, hence Ariel's mermaid design was changed (seen on the doll).
I absolutely love the first beauty and the beast Broadway doll, the one with the red roses on her dress. I first saw her on another doll collector's video and was blown away by how beautiful she is! I would love to have her one day. Also i remember the phantom of the opera barbie and ken dolls appearing in the barbie collector catalog back in the day, and really wanting the wedding dress😂 now after having seen the movie i wish there was a version based on the movie where they could have used emmy rossum's likeness because i just think she's beautiful and would make a lovely doll.

For the Ariel’s the second one you’re not too familiar with sue wasn’t exactly released for the “broadway” run but the papermill-national tour run. Officially produced by Disney but after the broadway run. And her costume for that doll is based on the design for the papermill run. She was on a harness in that show and flew a few times. Especially during part of your world and had these huge “fin curtains” that she held and waved around to “swim” that’s why her fins on that doll are also that big. So both stage Ariel dolls by Disney but one for broadway and one for papermill

You missed the Elle Woods dolls from Legally Blonde the musical that Madame Alexander made. Harvard law school outfit and her in the finale dress. I am going to see the movie but I don't think I'll get the dolls. I had the china girl doll from the last oz movie but cuz she was cute. I would love to have some of the maddame Alexander in my collection because I do collect vintage dolls mainly from MA. I do have an Annie doll shown in her classic red dress. For the Ariel’s the second one you’re not too familiar with sue wasn’t exactly released for the “broadway” run but the papermill-national tour run. Officially produced by Disney but after the broadway run. And her costume for that doll is based on the design for the papermill run. She was on a harness in that show and flew a few times. Especially during part of your world and had these huge “fin curtains” that she held and waved around to “swim” that’s why her fins on that doll are also that big. So both stage Ariel dolls by Disney but one for broadway and one for papermill
