Oh that was nice. I was just really enjoying that, thinking how nice your vid was, just hitting all those straight ( I think you get a better appreciation for the cliff size that way), and then you started flipping and spinning. Still loved it, really great video. Got my blood pumping!
Not really. I've seen a bunch of people tumble through there and survive. The initial tumble over those rocks is Unpleasant (tm) but then you end up in Siberia Bowl which is no big deal. The center line of the chimney is a bad place to fall (P21 in the holy book of robb for anybody following along at home), but certainly not "no fall". There was an infamous video of a snowboarder drydocking on Draft Rock (to skier's right), tumbling out, and riding away a few years back. The true "no fall" areas at Palisades are mostly closed off: Upper Attic (scene of an infamous fatality accident decades that led to its closure), some parts of the Tram Face, etc.
Seemingly effortless stomps on some big drops. Super sick
this guy does a lot of squats. He just stomps everything like it‘s a small park jump. Great video🤙🏻

Sick skiing! Those drops look awefully big to my old man back and knees.
Sitting here with a potentially torn ACL or PCL thinking about how excruciating it would be to try to squat out some of those landings.
Sick. Hard to get the perspective of how scary and big some of those drops are through video.
Badass! Is it just me or does this place have more natural cliffs than any other resort? Squaw Valley?
Yep.
gopro makes it looks so much smaller than it really is
Wonder what its called these days. Palisade Tahollywood?
I've heard "Pallywood" quite a few times.
Song?
