This is honest-to-god ridiculous my man. Sooooo much functionality and ease of use. No more pouring over the MUL and then going to either megamek or sarna to see what the variants actually are. Even friggin opfor generation, one stop shop for basically everything BTech pregame setup
I was just in the middle of building a doc like this for my collection and chosen factions. Thank you so so much! It solves all of the problems I was working on; trying to not jump between so many webpages to build a list. Already shared to my play group, this is a game changer.
RUclips algorithim did me well this morning! Great-looking app. I'll definitely be checking this out. Quick question from a newby that's just now getting into BattleTech. I love the feature of being able to select mechs that you have purchased and to be able to filter by them. I realize that BT has many variants of a given mech but choosing one can be a rather intimidating (analysis paralysis sort of thing). Does the app allow users to select a "standard" model of a particular mech, if there even is such a thing in BT? Thank you kindly :)
This is a good idea, but the 'standard' or 'basic' model isn't currently marked. What I would suggest for now is to set the "Rules Level" to "Standard" or even "Introductory" - this will ensure you are not seeing mechs with advanced weapons/rules.
I just wanna point out that the clan HEAVY star is not listed and the clan HEAVY BATTLE star instead incorrectly adds the heavy star omnimechs. I haven't noticed anything else wrong besides that as I've only searched for the packs that I personally own, but otherwise this tool is very cool.
Man I JUST found out about this thanks to random youtube algorithm stuff and it looks handy as hell. Is there a way to tell it I have X number of Y miniatures? In case I wanted to do, say, a Steiner Lance meme or even a pirate Locust force?
You only need 1 Locust or 1 Atlas in your Hangar Vault to do this. Think of it primarily as a search filter, and secondarily as a collection tracker. In the future we might add more collection-type features.
Does this include models that can act as multiple chassis? The Urbanmech being able to proxy the SubUrbanmech and urbanmech IIC? The Nova (clan) being able to proxy the Blackhawk KU and Blackhawk (standard)?
Nope. But you can simply add all of these models to your Vault, and thus when searching access all of the units that can be represented using your UrbanMech, for instance.
So did you get laid off this year too like so many other devs or is this your side gig to keep coding fresh? Cuz man you're killing it and your video quality is already fantastic...well done! Thanks for the tools!
This is all really great. There is a lot of good stuff here, and I will continue to use your site for the Search function alone. If I may just a little constructive criticism, however? And please know that I truly appreciate everything already here: - There is no way to add multiples of a model. Timber Wolves seem to come in every other clan mech pack, and there's a box that is a whole company of Urbanmechs, but all any 1 vault will ever currently see is 1 of those models. - The model count of 40 per vault is limiting. Even joining the Patreon doesn't solve that I'd just like a complete list of my Clan Mechs in 1 vault and my Inner Sphere mechs in another. I understand the Vault Count limited to 3 for free users, but as an Inventory of every mech model I own, this doesn't work (especially in conjunction with my 1st point). - This is more of a personal request than an issue, but I'd love to have the base number (or numbers, if more than 1 model exists) of the model listed alongside it or as part of the General information tab on the search screen. Alternatively, in the Hangar Vault, if given the ability to enter multiple of the same model, a small Notes section where we could put the base number, or that it's 3D printed, or where it is sourced from. Sorry, long comment. Great app, and appreciate all the work.
Well done. Any plans to add alphastrike force building to this? Masterunitlist has the ability but the saved vaults feature really would simplify that.
It's a long term goal... I think AS is great, it's just hard to consider every design decision with both sets of data/rules in mind. My gut told me it would be better to focus on AS support by itself later down the road...
this is great for newer players/collectors. however, my collection is well over 1000 miniatures, painted in non-faction specific camo. not really a benefit for me, since I build regiments of combined arms, roughly 150 to 200 units, plus additional non-combat support elements. most of which is not within your system.
Dude, I've been playing BattleTech since '91 and have wanted something like this for ages. You're a scholar and a gentleman.
I appreciate it. Do consider the sharing link to the video w/ folks you play with, if you wish to...

Thank you for the praise! Please consider sharing the link to the video wherever you think it could help other players...
But my spreadsheet!
Seriously though this is amazing, GREAT tool.
amazing update. i can finally throw my excel sheets away :D
Enjoy!
This is the functionality I’ve been desperate to find in a force building tool. Love it!
Thank you for the positive feedback. If you wish, you might consider sharing the link to the video wherever you think it could help other players...
This is absolutely brilliant and exactly what I and a LOT of other people have wanted for a LONG time. Thank you for your hard work!
I'm quite humbled by that - thanks! Please consider sharing the video with folks you think may find it useful or interesting.
@ already done it. Also heavily considering making a quick video for my channel’s modest audience.
This is amazing man, don't stop making this
I don't plan to stop any time soon. It would help me out if you'd consider sharing the link to the video w/ folks who you think it might interest...

You're doing a great job, these are very useful applications. Thank you
Glad you think so!
I currently use Solaris Skunk Werks to manage my forces, you're actually giving me plenty of good reasons to swap, cheers, loving the work!
@@HammerFell- I'll have to check that one out. Heard of it but never used it. Is it browser based?
@BattleMaster-1G desktop java app
Wow this is fantastic, can't wait to try it out in earnest!
What a game changer. I was making clumsy spreadsheets but this is so much easier
Incredible work.
WOW!!!!! So ool! THX!!!!
Sir, you do God's work.
Thank you for the praise! It'd help me out if you'd consider sharing the link to the video wherever you think it could help other players...
🔥GLORIOUS 👍 I checked out he armor profiles any plans for internal structure points tables or did I miss them in the menus?
It can be added pretty easily, probably to the same armor chart - I just didn't do it in this release. We'll get there!

I love the cadaver, shame the only way to get it (to my knowledge) is the IWM undead lance pack
It does look like a cool model, even if I had a bit of fun w/ the name...
So does this also do mercenary forces??
A new browser-based Ristar emerges 🎉

Looks like this has a lot of great features. Are the 'supporter only' features ever going to be free in a next update?

Need support for alpha strike please
