i cant believe ive been listening to this guy since i was in the 6th grade. i graduated high school this year and im still staring at the ceiling picturing the story in my head! literally my first fav youtuber

There is a lot if deranged people out there. Especially people who stressed because modern lifestyle. I don't know how people lived back then, but I think in certain areas it is more safe several years ago (not so much human traficker prowling around) than recent times because we have denser population now. More people, more crime. Especially in areas where there are many unplanned pregnancy.

Somebody put out a life-sized Michael Myers mannequin in their front porch and half-obscured it behind a post. Scared the crap out of me while I was driving by. Well played

It was a normal day like any other, I went to the Supermarket and got Lettuce, Corn, Potatoes, Red Wine, and raw lamb. After I finished shopping I arrived home after a 45 minute drive, but then it hit me and made my blood run cold, I forgot the lamb sauce and my neighbor Gordon Ramsay was walking straight at me with a menacing gleam in his eyes!

I got a cop three houses down so that’ll work. Then another like 3 streets down. Police station like less than 3 minutes away. Suburbs are great. Nowhere for a psycho to hide.

I fell down the back steps last year & broke 3 ribs, broke my arm & had a concussion. My neighbor & his cousin jumped the fence and were there helping me up almost before I hit the ground. It really is nice to know (and get along with) your neighbors.
It’s funny to hear the guy in the 1st story say that at age 15 you can’t trick or treat anymore because I went trick or treating until I was 18. I took advantage of still looking like a 12 year old and being 5’2😂

The last time I went trick or treating I was 20. They just assumed my friend and I were high school kids 😂I miss trick or treating man 😩😭 Halloween parties have nothing on trick or treating and then sorting and trading your candy while Halloween movies play in the background. Top tier 👌🏽
Your never too old to trick or treat. I’ve been doing it until I was 26 then I had my son. And still go. It’s also my birthday . I’ll be 38 and still dress up. Have a good costume and your good. This year my son and I are going as plague Drs.

I think I've heard, at least, a couple of other supposedly true horror stories about guys dressed up as Michael Myers. I think someone was pulling a sick prank in one of them.

Love how the threat of cops showing up does more to protect people than the cops *actually* showing up, in stories like these.

Great job as always man with these stories. I worked 100 hours these last two weeks, this was a great listen to ease the stress. Real glad all the victims ended up being okay at the end by the way.
I have a trick-or-treating horror story:
One of the houses in my neighborhood growing up was near a col-de-sac of huge houses. Each had to have been worth about a million dollars. I remember this house in particular because it had this long, steep driveway that went up a hill, behind the other houses. It always took a couple minutes just to walk up it, but it was worth it. The people who lived there gave out king-sized candy bars to anyone who went all the way up to their doorstep.
I didn't know that one year, they moved away. I made it to the top of the hill, and the new people who lived there weren't giving out candy.

I'm in a tiny house at the back of a circle court. I'm giving out full-size bars this year to be that person!
My previous apartment was on the second floor of a mansion, and the doorbell didn't work. Not that it mattered...the driveway was long, dark, and on the first floor was a funeral parlor. No one was going to ring, anyway.

First story: Kids enter a house where a sketchy group of men are who’re most likely predators, and then proceeded to follow said kids back home. And also said house is *literally* across the street from them.

I love when the older ones like the 15 year old trick or treat. We decorate and go all out and I do my best to put on the scares. The little ones usually just cry which is no fun. But the older ones give out blood curdling screams. That's the best. Nothing like filling the neighborhood with the sounds of screaming teens.

Almost all of the sketchy encounter stories can be resolved by a gun, not counting the tricky situations where the victim was a young kid. Even just firing a warning shot or showing the creeps that you have a gun can end that shit quickly, unless they're really nuts and/or have their own gun. Then someone will have to be filled with lead at that point 🤷♀️

I live in Croatia. It's a pretty safe country. We can walk in the middle of the night outside without being scared that something bad would happen.
I walk my dog at night without any problems. I mean after 12, 1 or 2 am.
There's something calming and satisfying being out while the city sleeps... especially throughout the week.
Yeah in America or some other places around the world we have too super careful out night if you have to go alone without friend/family member together late at night.

I live in Austria and listening to this stories makes me appreciate the safety in Austria even more. I often go for a walk in the middle of the night.
There are plenty of American cities/suburbs you can do that in as well. Just have to know which ones. I have always been comfortable outside at any hour of night in my own neighborhood.
I like watching these kinds of videos almost every year of when October comes around, but I always watch these videos throughout the year as well

I agree that knowing your neighbors is a great way to stay safe. Its better than knocking on a strangers door asking for help when the stranger could be dangerous as well. When I was ever home alone, I always had a plan that if something were to happen, I would run out the door and depending on the situation, would take different paths to one of my well known neighbors houses that was closest to mine.

I also have a scary story that happened to my family but my Grandma has all the facts so I need to get everything so I can submit it. The story honestly creeps me out knowing that we know what probably happened but may never get an answer to the truth.
