Thank you SO much...thete was a deflated balloon and some hard object blocking suction. You saved me so much money by showing me how to remove the plug!!!!
So what happens when the belt is new and the hoses are not clogged???? I guess I was looking for something informative past a hose check and belt replacement
A textbook example of good design for service/repair in a supremely cost-optimized machine. Removing the floor plate gives belt access without fully disassembling the head, and the whole thing is color coded so you know exactly what part you need to pull off to get to the brush and belt.
Hi Matt, I was disappointed that this video was not as warm and friendly as you usually make them. This video was more clinical and not as laid back as we have come to expect from your other great videos. It was technically a very good video as always but not as warm and friendly with your audience as we have come to love about your videos and the audio was sort of strange sounding too. Sounded like you were talking in a tunnel. Anyway, I just thought I would let you know not as great as your other videos have been buddy. Your friend. John in Ohio
@@HouseOfVacuums Hi Matt; Nobody loves your videos more than I do so I was thinking maybe I over stepped my boundary in the original message. Keep making your great videos because I always enjoy watching you do your thing with Vacuums. You are one of my favorite channel's here on RUclips. I always appreciate everything you do. Thanks for great videos. John
Hi there, I just got one of these vacuums and it’s blowing air out from the base… the bag is in place but for some reason air blows out from the hexagon shape part. Is there something that can be done to fix that?
It's true that the 1739 has hung around as a WalMart exclusive. But since it isn't available everywhere, I do kind of consider the 2019 the "heir apparent". Cheers!
I would certainly agree... however, I know there are people who just can't afford that extra $100. If they want something decent for rock bottom dollar, this is definitely the best option at it' price point.
I didn’t think I could learn anything by watching a Bissell repair, but I didn’t know about the brush bar melting potential. Great video. Thanks!
Thanks, I appreciate it!
Thanks for your help my belt was stretched out so I replaced it with a new one now it’s working great ❤😊
Thank you for posting!! My vacuum was super clogged & dusty. After watching your video it was easy to clean.
Glad I was able to help!

Awesome!
Thank you! I always enjoy seeing the amount of muck in some people's vacuums.
Right? I always find it interesting.
Cant get my new bag carpartment open. You didn't show how to or check that area.
Thanks for the video 💪🏽 this was my exact problem.

I agree. If you have to make something cheap, make it simple!
Fantastic video as always!
Thanks, Michael!
I just unclog my vacuum thanks for the help
Happy to help!
Bagged vacuum cleaners more greater and need more of them
Thank you so much, this was a very helpful video. 🎉
Glad it was helpful!
Good job
Thanks!

I don't mind it
Thanks for the feedback, John. I was just trying something different... the audio was a voiceover, not live. New video coming today!

No worries, John! If I couldn't take criticism I wouldn't be on RUclips, ha! Hope you enjoy the new video.
I hate to say but these are so cheap is it really worth the repair? 😩

Nope, that is the motor exhaust. If there is no air coming out of that, it means your motor isn't running!
Am i able to replace my hose
The longer hose is what I am asking about because of usage and stretching I need to replace the longer hose or do I have to just throw it away
Yes. Google "Bissell 1739 Hose" and you will get a lot of options.
This hasn't been replaced with the 2019 model, the 2019 is an upgraded version this 1739 is still around

Them 3522 bagged Bissell vacuum cleaners more greater
Nice
Thanks, Danny!
Do yourself an favor and spend the extra $100 for the much better version. Even the tools are actually usable.

@@HouseOfVacuums Yeah that makes sense.
Tell that to someone living on $500 a month. This is the best budget vacuum you can ever buy, and it's bagged.
