I have never been able to keep even a cactus alive until recently when I discovered how healing plants can be to your mental health. I started learning about plants and discovered your channel along the way. My plant babies and I thank you. I now have created a safe space with many plants, and the collection keeps growing! Thank you for your help and willingness to also share your mental health journey 💚
I’m so grateful to be of help to you and your plants babies. Plants are so much more than just green things in a home, they bring so much to us so I’m happy to share. Thank you for being here 💚
I recently became plant momma to a baby Hawaiian pothos. The thing's so stinkin' cute! I'm exited to watch it grow into a beautiful mountain of leaves, like your pothos.
I’m lying in bed on Christmas morning with COVID… so I won’t be seeing anyone for the next week…. Watching you save sad plants…. And I’m finding this so ….. comforting…. I’m also only now releasing that all the plants I have ever had were…. Killed by my over kindness and too much water … 😕
You have inspired me to rescue plants! Recently I picked up Spiderwort vines that had broken off the main plant and were laying on the sidewalk outside my local grocery. I put them in water and they now have roots. Time to put it in a pot! Love your videos and your sense of humor. 😊
I love how you are genuinely happy to rescue plants people don’t want because they are not “perfect”🥹🤨!high five to you and this new rescue welcome home yeai🙏🏽
You inspired me to be brave enough to rescue plants from the store! I’ve got a calathea which is growing like max and I just got a maranta, fingers crossed it does well too!
I got a ficus elastica tineke as a rescue today. It’s normal price was £15, but I got it for £7.5 🎉 Brought my new beloved girl to home, gave it a through check, cleaned, treated, fed 🥰 She is in isolation for a while now but she looks better already and I’m happy 🥰❤️
I took your advice and checked the Walmart plant clearance. There was so much for under $10 . I scored 6 plants for just $11. I wanted so much more but don’t have room for them …YET!
I'm currently rehabbing a few pink princesses philos bc they were soaking wet at the store! I found the mesh plug up in the center (completely absorbing ALL the water!) So all the leaves were floppy and almost damp. They did suffer from over watering but roots were good so now I'm just waiting for them to really take off!!
Wow I feel better about my golden pothus plant... I thought I was neglecting it but it keeps shooting out new limbs and mine isn't fully yellow like this either .. yay I feel so good . I wish RUclips let us post pics ❤
So THAT’S what it’s called…Rescue pathos. Love it! You’ve validated my obsession with this, too. Your tips are awesome.♥️ ~~ BTW, I would love to know how to spruce up a scraggly-looking lavender plant. Can you cut off some of the branches and root them, or can you only grow from the seeds in the flowers?
I really wish that you had classes or we could do a session with you! I have some plants that I love but I don’t have a clue how to care for them and they’re surviving by the Grace of God
Do you ask for a discount on the rescued plants or do you accept the price they are marked as? I'm really curious as to how you approach that conversation, because I need tips. Please
And she will outgrow the pot in a month. You should have cut about half the roots off before putting it into the pot. That's a mistake that a lot of people make, thinking that they have to save all the roots. Sometimes it's best to just root prune the poor thing and give it some good soil, so that it has a lot of room to grow...
Hey 2021 New Influencer! I see U getting good at your theme. Your channel is improving i see. I see you have new fun stuff. here i leave a comment before going for the replay button!
I see. Rescue the needy. I have 2 thriving succulents and successfully propagated a cactus pad for my desert tortoise. On to the discount section to save lives. :-)
Girl im early for once before the comments roll in I love you videos and I've decided to start planting everything that has seeds because of your videos lol its been really fun until squirrels eat them 🤣🤣
With rehab plans like these I take them outside and I put my hose on jet stream and I completely clean the roots and then re-pot after the roots have been left to dry out and then I personally wait a week before I water it
Just a fun tip if you ever need a smaller poker i use one that came with my coffee machine as i dont use it for my coffee machine LOL and it truly gets all that yuck out of the roots at the very top !
You don't got to do that with the dirt honesty I've got house full of pothos and when you go from them getting real good light to winter light. They well do that leafs turn yellow you take them off and they well be fine there's no reason at all to go through out it's soil because of yellow leafs now if the stems start to rot. That's difference like the first mother with new baby they always over react with things. Pothos you can't really kill as long you give them water light there hardy they don't need much from us.
I’m struggling with my aloe plant. Any advice? I was also given a snake plant that has been very very damaged and I’m not sure how to help it or where to start😢
you don’t have to remove yellow leaves. they’re taking back in the nutrients - like, nitrogen. that’s why they’re yellowing. especially if they yellow from the tip to the petiole.
Question: how many individual pothos plants are in that? I don't want to overload a pot so I only put 2 or 3 plants in a pot 6in round, how many could I pot up?
She looks so relieved now. She's saying thank you. I can breathe now. I'm no longer drowning
Krystal cracks that pot like she’s cracking someone back! 😂
Reminds me of my chiropractor lol

Your energy and enthusiasm regarding plants is contagious and I thank you! I’m on my journey of plant discovery. 🌱
Im so happy to have you here. Thank you so much for your support!
I’ve had the same pothos since 1987. And it looks amazing still.
She already looks better by the end of the video!🌱 Thanks for adopting her. 😜 You're so adorbs at home excited you get. Glad I'm not the only one.
Your enthusiasm is amazing! Thank you for sharing!
I rescued a similar sad pothos, she's doing fantastic now!
Geezus😂...I thought you were performing CPR 🤭..cute pup ... thanks for the advice ...😊
"Too big of a pot, can lead to root rot!" Has a nice ring to it. 🎶

You make us all want to go save all the plants!
I appreciate how you show the end result too! Extremely informative:)
So nice to see a plant rescued! You’re doing saintly work! ❤️
All of your tips are wonderful, and I love your channel. But working on the boot mat! Genius!
She is so happy now😃
The end was so cute. “Yeah!!”
I love your adorable little dog.

I rescued one of these! I still haven't re potted it yet 🙃 but I'm glad I came across this video!
I adore you! Your passion and love for plants is out of this world! I hope to one day be like you as a plant parent 😉
I absolutely love your videos! I got into plants a little while back and your videos help me so much 😌 thank you!!

Love the plant high five at the end!..lol
You always make me want to RUN to the shop to get more plants...I don't have enough space and light for them 😭😭
I love your shorts!
These are so satisfying to watch😭!
These plants grow like weeds here in south west Florida. I did save mine in pots through the hurricane. They are always pretty.
My takeaway is the dog supervising from the back of the chair. 🤷♀️🐾❤️
He is quality control over there 😂
Reminds me its boot season in the UK off to Wilkinsons to buy a boot mat for plants.. Obviously 🇬🇧😂
She became a masterpiece ❤️
That poor pothos was suffering!! :"0 they are my favorite plants
Wow I feel better about my golden pothus plant... I thought I was neglecting it but it keeps shooting out new limbs and mine isn't fully yellow like this either .. yay I feel so good . I wish RUclips let us post pics ❤
Learning… Thank you 💕

I just did my peace lily, you give me hope! I've revived this plant 3x already, it don't

Heya bestie! ❤ Can you rehab “bad soil” for later use??

Hey Krystal! Have you ever thought of getting an Aquarium to grow aquatic plants?
The foot fell asleep part is me everyday
This plant should start to GREEN up...now that you've given it some much needed love and NEW soil.
This might be a foolish question - is that just a very yellowed philodendron? Or is the "pothos" a similar plant with a shortened nickname?
Hey 2021 New Influencer! I see U getting good at your theme. Your channel is improving i see. I see you have new fun stuff. here i leave a comment before going for the replay button!
That's one lucky pothos
Beautiful plant
My favorite plants ❤
If y’all see some rescue plants at a big box store def try asking for a discount cuz they won’t mind most of the time!!
I got mine as a baby on a shelf not looking too hot, hopefully he shall grow strong with my others 🤞🏻

Do you have soil recipes? I need to do some repotting but I’m not sure how to make up a good soil for various plants
Taking them out of their pot reminds me of giving someone cpr 😂
What do you do with old soil??
The dog is like, aeii not again!
Oooo you just made me ooooo I think this is what’s going with my adansonii the tips look like that tooo
kinda looked like you doing CPR on the pothos pot. lol
It's roots bounding very nice treatment
I would’ve started cutting and propagating like crazy haha
Can Pablo pick out the next plant you buy 😂
these plants I'm always so paranoid se me sequen. but so far so good . they are beautiful ❤
Yep! The sickest plants at the big box store after they have been there for a while. Neglect by the store!
I skimmed comments in hope of not asking a question you’ve answered, but what soil mixture do you use? Thanks in advance
what kind of pothos is this?
Thanks!
Oh my gosh, thank you so much 💚💚💚
What do you do with all of your rescues?
If I make my own soil mix in a tub like yours, can I store it outside or will humidity/heat be an issue? I'm in Central Florida.
I just bought a baby pothos that gave no watering instructions.. do I keep her in a pot that can drain? And how often do I water her...
Can you please do a wandering dude/ inchplant video. Mine are struggling🥲
What is the soil mix you use for Pothos ?
Do photas like tightness or do they like their pot being upgraded,
Where do you get most of your plants ❤
Lowes and my local nursery.
With rehab plans like these I take them outside and I put my hose on jet stream and I completely clean the roots and then re-pot after the roots have been left to dry out and then I personally wait a week before I water it
when you repot you’re plants, do they experience root shock? if so how do you treats that?
Using those cpr skills to save plants 😂
Just a fun tip if you ever need a smaller poker i use one that came with my coffee machine as i dont use it for my coffee machine LOL and it truly gets all that yuck out of the roots at the very top !
Hi, quick question, Why do you smell the soil? I'm trying to get into plants and want to know if it's useful so i can help mine! :)
So I tend to smell everything 😂 but when you have rot, you can smell and extra pungent smell. So I like to also use my nose while inspecting.
@@PlantswithKrystal oh thank you! That's really interesting!
Please does Potus really need a drainage pot or it doesn’t matter what plant pot you use ?
You don't got to do that with the dirt honesty I've got house full of pothos and when you go from them getting real good light to winter light. They well do that leafs turn yellow you take them off and they well be fine there's no reason at all to go through out it's soil because of yellow leafs now if the stems start to rot. Every plant I've bought from Lowes has Root Rot or has bugs in the soil. I swear its gross 😝
Where do you find plants on clearance??? I never see this anywhere!
💚💚💚
Im aboutta rescue a philodendron brasil thats looking just like this at my work. As soon as i get paid ;)
Should you use well draining mix like that for all plants?
I’m struggling with my aloe plant. Any advice? I was also given a snake plant that has been very very damaged and I’m not sure how to help it or where to start😢
Specifically what plants do you use Foliage Pro on?
you don’t have to remove yellow leaves. they’re taking back in the nutrients - like, nitrogen. that’s why they’re yellowing. especially if they yellow from the tip to the petiole.
I currently have 2 in my living room and 1 is giving me trouble lol but im not giving up on it lol
beauty! total steal.
Question: how many individual pothos plants are in that? I don't want to overload a pot so I only put 2 or 3 plants in a pot 6in round, how many could I pot up?
Where do you get all of these
How do you measure the root ball?
how often do you water this type of plant? this is the type I have in my office and I wanna make sure I'm treating it right!
once or twice a month is good.
