Great piece! I'm playing it in front of a couple thousand people in a few weeks. By far the best piece I've encountered so far. I'm clarinet and this is a good piece to help me get better.

Heya Chris! My kiddos are playing this for festival this week and they LOVE it so much! My percussionists are going bug-eyed with some of the rhythms, but it is so fun to play that they are determined to get it right! We've paired Machine Age with the Allegretto movement from Beethoven's Symphony No. 7, so you are keeping fine company!

My band is playing this in middle school. Other schools have this in their highest bands. We have this song in our lowest bands. I'm only in the lowest because I didn't audition. I auditioned this year and got in the highest year.

+Jadon Roder Writing music is different for each person, and each piece. For this one it probably took me about a week to write it all out, then another month to listen to it and re-work it until I was happy. Then I had to make all of the parts look good too!
Also was this a percussion inspired piece?
+Karam Abilmouna Hi Karam - Yes, it was percussion inspired, but more just "rhythm" inspired. I wanted to write a piece that helped kids learn to play 8th notes with confidence...and also to write interesting parts for each person in the band!
