IZ*ONE choreos are all about teamwork! Sure, individually the moves aren’t crazy difficult compared to many other groups. But they use a lot of imagery and “ripple effects”, which require perfect coordination among the members. This is why their choreos are so amazing!
funfact this choreo is known for having really fast waves or ripples! most known one is in the intro where ripple happened in just under half a second across 10 members
Not managed by pledis, they were under swing (under CJ ENM for management&activities) and off the record (under stone music/pledis for training&music production, now Wake One ENT since pledis pulled out/bought by HYBE). I feel bad for Fromis, off the record managed their activities and they didn't get as many opportunities as izone w/ swing.

But the main point as to why IZ*ONE's choreography had similar vibes as Seventeen was because they were produced and trained by the same people at Pledis under the Off The Record Label as you've pointed out. As for Fromis_9, I'm just happy that they are finally getting their chance to shine again.

you might enjoy a new dance variety show call: Street woman fighter “mnet”. Since there is chaeyeon of izone there Currently there is two episode with eng sub. A bunch of female professional/ street dancer competing with each other to see who is the best pro dance crew in south korea. The only one there that is not a pro dancer is idol- chaeyeon of izone. During the 1 vs 1 freestyle dancer chaeyeon lost a lot. Even though chaeyeon may dance well but during a dance battle the professional dancer has the edge.
