I was at this show (my first Rush concert, was totally incredible) but the song was moving so nicely and smooth I hardly even noticed it really. It was still one of their best performances of the night, imho. Rush forever!
Let me just say this...NO BAND DOES A BETTER,MORE PROFESSIONAL, RECREATION of material they wrote 32+ yrs ago!! I think 95% of not only RUSH fans but any music fan would agree. Forget the word "TRAIN WRECK" when it comes to RUSH...Period!!! Common, there's only a handful of musicians left on the face of the earth that are as precise LIVE as these guys! I've seen them live 8 times & they've NEVER been better than they were on this tour! Thoroughly enjoyed this 2+ hr 3 ring circus! LONG LIVE RUSH
Notice the error at the 7min mark? As Big Al starts his guitar riff, Ged is playing his synth part (with his foot) longer than he should have. All is fine after a few seconds... these things happen when you play bass and synth (and sing) at the same time!
Thanks to sabianrox1 and tchientchien I have added an annotation which indicates Neil's early drum fill. They recover nicely in the end... what else would you expect from Rush? Please be aware these annotations are not available using the DIVX HiQ play option.
Geddy predicted the error at the 7 min mark. I saw Geddy in an interview before this tour and he said he was having a bit of issue with camera eye in practice. It's been sooooo long since its been played live.
I Saw Rush At The Gorge At The End Of This Tour... Final Date... It Was Amazing How They Always "Stick It Out" On The Last Date Of A Tour... They Played The Entire Moving Pictures Album Flawlessly... Amd Everything Else Was Flawless... But Geddy Did Seem A Little Raspy... But That Happens After A Long Tour And Aroung Age 60...
It took me a few listen but I did to find what appened. It's Neil that mixes his fills. After the 8 mesures loop section, he makes is long fill, that was supposed to come after 16 mesures... I guess Geddy did not notice Neil went early on it, he was wating for his Q ... second guess, played the keys to long like you say but it all started with Neil. The long drum fill is what really starts the new gtr riff.
What a big mistake, it took me a few looks to find out what appened. It's Neil that mix is fills. After the 8 mesures loop section he makes is long fill, that was supposed to come after 16 mesures... I guess since Geddy did not notice Neil went early on it, He was wating for it... second guess and played the keys to long like you say but it all started with Neil. I'm a bass player, I know how important those cue are ! Neil is still the best in the world !!!! Thanks for the video.
I have seen various videos on RUclips described as Rush 'train wrecks'. None I have seen are true train wrecks which I believe is an error (or series of errors) that they cannot recover from. That is, re-starting the song is their only option! I have yet to see one of these...

Love it, it shows we are all human, and nothing was a pre-mix but 100% live.

@jacovarr1 I only noticed the error(s) after reviewing the video... not while filming at the show.

Just goes to show how with it they are for Neil to mess up for one second and fix himself on track.
