Thanks so much for making this channel and putting in the work to find out about how it's all progressing! I'm so looking forward to each new update, big and small. What an exciting time!
This sounds like more good news! keep it coming!! This channel is defo shaping up to be the UK version of Park Stop and I'm here for it! (no pressure of anything 😄)
I've heard Universal have been buying houses in Kempston Hardwick. Someone mentioned a business has been sold up to Universal and need to be out by April.
Although I am grateful the news about Universal looking to build in the UK leaked... we now have to wait anxiously for 6 or so yrs. It may have been better to see construction and wonder what is going on and then have Universal make a splashy announcement with only 2 yrs to go. Grateful none the less.
Be really good rail connections if HS1 via HS2 could link to it? Offering Southeastern Highspeed Trains or a new operator travelling from South direct up there? Then again if Thameslink go direct to it, straight connection via London St Pancras 100% be easy and ideal? Hopefully it gets go ahead and happens, would be epic addition to UK. Think if in my opinion London Resort want to happen really? Maybe take their idea two park resort a.k.a British & variety themed park & build it in a UK Europe hotspot, somewhere in the sun. Because thats realistically where I can see that working out instead of the UK? Unless they are involved with this? Gate 2 becomes mixed IP's & theming park? With Universal Studios being big main park? Who knows? But nice update, really enjoyed, look forward to seeing more updates & videos soon. 😀👍
I am really hoping this goes ahead so that it gives Merlin the kick the backside to improve their resorts. They seem to be stepping it up a gear in the last year so here is hoping for some proper competition.
To be fair, the land they're planning to build on doesn't have that many homes nearby, just some light industry, so there should be a good buffer between housing and the park. That'll make planning permission easier. Plus access to the park will be via existing major roads that don't go through any villages.
It is a railway station, not a train station. American'(whose use of the English language has been free and easy, eg. easy cos u downt ave to learn it and free because no-one charges you for it, (the dollar rules) use the term train station. I take it that you are English, that you wish to be a broadcaster, then love, encourage and treasure your mother tongue. It is a railway station because the railway is there, whether there is a train in it or not. Consider yourself told off. I must now go back to burning Mirriam Webster dictionaries, before my next dose of tablets.
I have often heard in special events the term "All aboard". It has never been used in UK. The term is and always has been, from the earliset days, "Right, away!" with raised arm to let guard know.
It's not. They purchased the rights to build the rides. Like Disney paid for the rights to build an Avatar area. It happens quite regularly@@EccentricGentelman

That is SO MUCH pressure! haha
Let’s hope the HS2 builders aren’t involved 🙄
the builders are totally fine on HS2. It’s government incompetence on not understanding the cost of infrastructure that’s the problem.
@@86wellacre it would appear Balfour Beatty have a propaganda arm that post on You Tubes comments

I’ve heard rumours but waiting to see confirmation. Will keep an eye out!

Excellent, thats got to be of benefit to a small peaceful rural community.
I assume you’re being sarcastic but the benefits to the entire region will be astronomical
@@UniversalStudiosGBUpdates Bedfordshire a famously downtrodden place, of course.

Oh look “levelling up” for the north! lol.
From London no doubt, not from the north...
The old fogey residents won't let it happen.
Don’t be so sure, a lot of residents seem supportive
@@UniversalStudiosGBUpdates Hopefully. Would be brilliant having Universal Studios in the UK.
On the contrary- Universal have said it’s the most positive public feedback they have ever had out of ALL of their parks
@@Brad7Dad Sounds good mate. I'll be visiting when finished.
What’s the possibility of the station having a hogwarts express from King’s Cross
Potentially, if a new station was built at Wixams
Ok so we have universal theme parks in Orlando, California, Japan, Singapore…. lol Bedford please calm down..
Well it wouldent be universal Bedford you weirdo it would be universal United Kingdom use your brain cells next time
Hear me out: the Trainline through the middle of the resort is ideal for a real hogwarts express.
Nah, we need more infrastructure to the north. Fucking hell
Did you have to display that picture of the Hunt? A cartoonist is unnecessary.

Hogwarts? The Harry Potter films are Warner Brothers not Universal.
At other universal parks around the world they have Harry Potter areas and rides
I thought those were WB parks. That's like building a Jurassic Park Ride at a Disney Land@@UniversalStudiosGBUpdates
