At the moment Mexico has better players than us, so the percentage of winning is low but anything is possible. As long as we get a draw than I'm good but if we lose then let it be.
Black Kakarot Sure Mexico is better than the US now, but the roles have definitely been reversed. The US still has the most points and wins in the history of the Hex.
I went to the stadium when I was younger with my dad to watch Club America v Cruz Azul, they are semi rival teams and when I walked in there looking up, it was breathtaking. Me and my dad were amazed at the feeling, looking up at the people on top was like little ants. the game ended 3-3 and every goal was crazy, also seeing people of so my ethnicities, it was crazy because I expected just Mexicans, there were white, black, and Asians, and just everyone was enjoying themselves.
Not to mention the stadium that 2 legends received a World Cup title ! Maradona and pele ! I can’t wait to see that stadium . In all honestly the Mexicans themselfs make it what it is they’re hard core futbol fans i can’t even imagine how the streets in the us and Mexico will be when they get their first world title
Azteca stadium witnessed what is concider the 2 best world cups in the history. 2 of the best world champions Brazil(70) and Argentina(86) with 2 of the best soccer players in the history, PELE & MARADONA
I wish the Mexican Federación can update the stadium to become more modern and the best stadium in Mexico :) Even though I hate the fact that club America use it for home games I think azteca should just keep it for Mexico national team and Events
how are the US players allowed to say that they feel a man down in that stadium. They should show a bit of courage and pride. Try playing CONMEBOL qualifiers!! Every away stadium is like that and no one is afraid to go to an away match!
The inner remodeling of the stadium makes it look horrible ! Compare the new Azteca stadium to the great football stadiums like Santiago Bernabeu,Camp Nao,Old Trafford, Signal induna Park, Allianz Arena etc. They should of just fixed seating, better security, maybe technology and repainting it to make it look more spectacular
I live about 500 meters near to Azteca Stadium and it's fucking awesome being outside or inside when our MNT plays there. Screaming "Mexico, Mexico", the "Cielito Lindo" song and of course the polemical chant "Eeehhh Puuuutooo" (I can translate as: "Eeehhhh arsehole") it's an amazing experience.
roaches23 Club America is the MOST HATED team in Mexico, bunch of cynical arseholes, referee masters, crooked bastards and their fans are like the lowest of the low. In Mexico our favourite phrase is : Chingue a su madre el América (fuck off Club America)
Why does the US keep complaining about the altitude?! The elevation is not all that high compared to elevations found in the US. I am from Texas which has no elevation and have participated in cycling, running, and hiking in and around Mexico City with no problems. Stop blaming the altitude. I once saw a cartoon in Mexico portraying a giant brown eagle over a small bald eagle and the Mexican eagle saying yeah they needed more elevation, made more sense in Spanish 😂
Playing at Aztec stadium AT 12PM with the sun and fans is hell... only costa rica have manage to beat us under those conditions... and honduras but it was a rainy night. The games at Azteca should of kept beign at noon, dumb decision to switch them at night.

At the moment Mexico has better players than us, so the percentage of winning is low but anything is possible. As long as we get a draw than I'm good but if we lose then let it be.
Black Kakarot not always. We've had better players than Mexico before. And USA is starting to look better with the upcoming youth players. Trust me.
Black Kakarot
Sure Mexico is better than the US now, but the roles have definitely been reversed. The US still has the most points and wins in the history of the Hex.
yup we are superior in soccer
2:33 that’s not edited, that was the roar of the stadium in the broadcast
Mexico 2 vs USA 1 2009
Much love to u.s.a, they always put up a fight at the azteca
Estadio Azteca defines futbol Mexicano!!
I went to the stadium when I was younger with my dad to watch Club America v Cruz Azul, they are semi rival teams and when I walked in there looking up, it was breathtaking. Me and my dad were amazed at the feeling, looking up at the people on top was like little ants. the game ended 3-3 and every goal was crazy, also seeing people of so my ethnicities, it was crazy because I expected just Mexicans, there were white, black, and Asians, and just everyone was enjoying themselves.
actually, the US has won in Azteca, a 1-0 win over Mexico in a friendly.
I think they mentioned only official matches counts such as matches to qualify for the World Cup
Ohh yes yes the temple!😌
Not to mention the stadium that 2 legends received a World Cup title ! Maradona and pele ! I can’t wait to see that stadium . In all honestly the Mexicans themselfs make it what it is they’re hard core futbol fans i can’t even imagine how the streets in the us and Mexico will be when they get their first world title
Azteca stadium witnessed what is concider the 2 best world cups in the history. 2 of the best world champions Brazil(70) and Argentina(86) with 2 of the best soccer players in the history, PELE & MARADONA
Today is a day Mexicans and USA people come together and enjoy the most beautiful sport on Earth. GL My Mexico and GL USA. may the best win.
Si así se emocionan ahora que esta viejo ahora cuando lo remodelen por completo ni me imagino como se van a poner
We need a new stadium, Its getting old
Mexico number 1 baby🇲🇽🇲🇽😎
It has a small chance of being the first stadium to host 3 World Cup finals
Nope. The 2026 final will be in the US. Mexico and Canada are only hosting Group matches (10 each). All other group and knockout games are in the US.
Tired with the "smog" chat. Haven´t you been to LA or other large city?
Happy Birthday to the Azteca! May 29, 1966.
I wish the Mexican Federación can update the stadium to become more modern and the best stadium in Mexico :)
Even though I hate the fact that club America use it for home games I think azteca should just keep it for Mexico national team and Events
viva mexico!!
how are the US players allowed to say that they feel a man down in that stadium.
I love Tom Marshall big shout out to him!!!!
I live about 500 meters near to Azteca Stadium and it's fucking awesome being outside or inside when our MNT plays there.
Screaming "Mexico, Mexico", the "Cielito Lindo" song and of course the polemical chant "Eeehhh Puuuutooo" (I can translate as: "Eeehhhh arsehole") it's an amazing experience.
club America gets their ass kicked there all the time. how mystical can it be?
roaches23 🤣🤣
fuck off. Michael Bradley covfefe'd his dick all over Azteca.
roaches23 You ought to say "chinga a su madre all the time", the way we call it here :)
roaches23 Club America is the MOST HATED team in Mexico, bunch of cynical arseholes, referee masters, crooked bastards and their fans are like the lowest of the low.
In Mexico our favourite phrase is : Chingue a su madre el América (fuck off Club America)
You're right!
Vamos Mexico
welcome Yankees......not all mex act like shit......good luck......Bienvenidos to Azteca Soil!
Then there's you , the one that bends over for gringos
Respect Usa !! And all the world! Viva México y su estadio AZTECA!
Mike Sorber played at Pumas unam
tbh the player who Im worried about is pulisic. That guy can ball. If we manage to stop him we can cut out most of the U.S attacks
1999 Confederations Cup 🏆 world record attendance 110,000
El Gran Cathedral of Futbol in North America!!
the steps are so steeeeep i accidently bumped someone and he almost fell onto the field lol got him a brew!!
El Azteca is a living and breathing animal. Make no mistake and underestimate its power.
Playing at Aztec stadium AT 12PM with the sun and fans is hell... only costa rica have manage to beat us under those conditions... and honduras but it was a rainy night. The games at Azteca should of kept beign at noon, dumb decision to switch them at night.
USA tendrá los estadios más modernos del mundo, pero ninguno con la mística del Azteca
The Gringo's Graveyard.
have yall noticed bruce arena is always drunk liik at him next time
