I feel you on the living paycheck to paycheck bud, i got injured at work. I've been out of work on worker comp checks for over a year now with 2 shoulder surgeries and many physical therapy days. Keep your head up and best wishes on your recovery from South Carolina
Thanks for the support, and I'm sorry to hear about your injury! The USA-lifestyle and everything that surrounds it is geared toward permanently living at the edge of your means, whether or not you try to avoid it. Inflation, the rising cost of living, ridiculous food & fuel prices, insurance, etc, etc... they all conspire against us to keep us slaves to the dollar and running on that never-ending treadmill. If you ever get injured or lose your stride on that treadmill that's forever increasing its speed and incline, it will do its best to strip the skin from your bones and put you in the dirt. It's a sh**ty way to live... no two ways about it! 😒 --QM
I really enjoy your content; been there with more month at the end of the money bro. At least you have your motorcycles and your RUclips friends to, hopefully, clear your mind. Coming from Oklahoma, you’re one tough honcho. I recently retired from trucking and own a Royal Enfield INT650; that is a blast to ride here in AZ. Keep the content coming bro!
That's a good point! I always forget about Denny's because there aren't many of those restaurants near my usual transit areas. I'll have to give them a try again soon! 😉👍 --QM
I haven’t kept up, sorry. Busy life. But I hope that guy that hit you is going to make a payout to you at some point. I like the idea of that 180 panoramic mirror. Is it good in practice? When the sun is behind you? Take care, heal.
Thanks for the support! The insurance and lawsuit stuff is still underway... no timeframe for resolution yet. I'm doing better, but nowhere near my previous capabilities or stamina. Healing is a long, slow process now that I'm older. That's the RiderScan Blindspot Mirror: amzn.to/3nJjXLp . If that one is out of stock, then there are several knock-offs that are cheaper and seem to work almost as well ( amzn.to/49WKaNu ). You can search Amazon or Ebay for "parabolic blindspot mirror" to find alternatives. This mirror really helps situational awareness in traffic because you can see 180° behind you. There is a learning curve to use it properly because the image is distorted by the mirror's convex shape, but it becomes second nature after a few hours of riding. The convex shape also minimizes sun and headlight glare because it's refracted away (vs. being directly reflected or concentrated). It's very rare for me to be caught off-guard with a cager hiding in my blind spot while I'm riding with one of these mirrors. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM
Howdy, Daniel! I purchased those from SuperBrightLEDs: www.superbrightleds.com/led-light-pod-2-modular-led-off-road-work-light-10w-900-lumens . I have two sets of those LED pods: one set of 10° spot pattern, and one set of 60° flood pattern. The entire set is powered from a dedicated circuit for master enable/disable. The floods are keyed to engage with my main low beam, and the spots are keyed to the high beam (high beam engages everything at once). It's like daylight when I hit the brights! 😉👍 --QM
Can you believe that the HOA sent me a nasty letter saying I needed to mow my lawn?! F-OFF you commie bastards! 🤣 The Honda Monkey is an interesting bike, and it has the same bulletproof engine as the Grom, Super Cub, CT125, etc. The Monkey's seat is VERY plush, so it's probably the most comfortable of all the mini-motos. The aesthetics don't really appeal to me compared to the Super Cub or Grom, so that's why I haven't added one to the stable. The Honda DAX 125 is also interesting, so I might give that a look if/when it arrives on our shores. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM
Oh, man... I've been living on a steady diet of ginger, lemon, honey, and Theraflu for the past week or so. I thought I was getting better, but it boomeranged on me Saturday with a sinus infection. Ugh ... I feel like my head is gonna explode! 🤯🤧
@@QuasiMotardI also forgot to mention that I threw in eating jalapenos raw to add to the effect... since it was said to clear sinus pressure but the runny nose isn't fun though
Howdy, Rez! I have no regrets whatsoever about selling the Ryker... that thing was a pain in my ass. I'm a strange animal when it comes to trust and commitment issues. If someone/something ever breaks my trust, then there's no going back... I'm done... game over. I lost faith in the Ryker and Can-Am's customer service when the Ryker's CVT exploded, and Can-Am REFUSED to cover it as a factory defect. After all the other troubles that I experienced with bad alignment and faulty steering components (since it was brand new), that was the final straw. No more faith, no more patience. BRP will never earn another dollar of mine. I was even considering purchasing a Spyder F3-S, but Can-Am's service and warranty coverage is absolutely horrendous. I can't find any logic in trusting a manufacturer that would rather gamble on customer safety than to FIX THEIR FAULTY (DANGEROUS) PRODUCTS. It's just not worth the worry or the effort. 😉👍
if you do any local camping i really need to get the hell out of here before i go F-ing crazy. and just dont sell your wing. you can google this they saying the earths north and true north has been moving about 10 miles a year and i think it might have moved enough we are starting to notice the change.
I spend most of my time working at client sites all over the greater Houston area. My warehouse is mostly used as storage for my work supplies and overflow for my hobbies (motorcycles, etc).

Man, I feel you with the crazy rising prices on everything. Hang in there and keep riding.
Thanks for the support, Stephen! It's a tough battle, but I'm hanging in there. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM
Yeah the allergies are definitely hitting strong right now. I'd be up fpr some moto camping depending on what weekend you plan on going...
Hell, yeah! I'll try to let you know at least a week in advance if/when I'm going, and where that destination might be. 😉👍 --QM
hey man if you disconect the battery from the bike (leaving the battery inside but disconected) it should slow down the battery drain over time ALOT
I enjoy your trips and talking about how you are and real life challenges, keep up the good work .
Thanks for the support! 👊😉👍 --QM
Seeing the power lines down over by 529 and 99 was insane
17:44 I went to that area just recently and the inside of that 99 ranch market is a bit funky too. I think they got some roof damage.
Dang that sucks. Hopefully the building hasnt molded, theres still some small businesses inside there thst are struggling

Thats Nice, Ferrari 458 Italia parked directly next your business .
That’s $250,000 car on today’s market
Agreed! That shop does a lot of maintenance and rebuilds for high-end cars. I stop and gawk at some of the rare birds from time to time. 😉👍 --QM
Denny’s $7.99 Grand Slam breakfast. 2 eggs 2 sausage 2 bacon and 2 pancakes.

What LEDs are on the front of your bike?

I was about to mention how nice your lawn looked. lol Can I ask if you have any opinions on the Honda Monkey?

@@QuasiMotard I absolutely believe that the HOA did that. lol
Oh, are they bringing the DAX here finally?
I've heard rumors. Honda has officially filed the US patents, so we'll see! 🤷♂ --QM
I'm now dealing with bad allergies and I'm drinking green tea like crazy 😅 I thought it was just me

Speaking of selling bikes, are you missing or have any regrets selling the Ryker so far?

🤣 That's a bit before my time, but I'm certainly one of those crazy Gen-X'ers from OK! 😉👍 --QM

Why do you not rent a work space closer home
