i miss my jawbreakers, they got blown away in a tornado. yes really. might have to get a new pair while theyre on sale everywhere. my favorite part is that they sit fairly close to my face and basically help me zone into whatever im doing (race, interval, etc)
There is a bit of peripheral blockage but the glasses also wrap quite a bit so the shield extends your vision. It is not at all comparable to a pair of flat frame sunglasses with thick temple arms.
love these videos. they have helped me choose which Oakleys to get and also which lens, After hours of watching and rewatching your videos, I ended up getting the Radar EV Path with Prizm and then ordered a Prizm Trail Torch lens for mountain biking, I am almost to the point of needing a prescription and so got the Radar because it is RX-able. Thanks
Hey guys. Great informative video. I'm an avid city cyclist and I'm planning my first novice tour in iceland next year so I'm researching everything. I'm liking the radar ev path. I'll need them primarily for touring and in iceland it's very windy so I guess my questions are: Will they provide adequate wind protection? How does prescription work with them? Do they come in like an amber/hd sort of lens? I don't want a black or too dark lens? Are the lenses swap-able? THANK YOU!
Hi Brandon! The Radar EV Path is a great choice if you want maximum blockage. It is available with embedded lenses you can check out here: ruclips.net/video/gKkJ466myDg/видео.html Th eonly downside to the shields in prescription is that it is not available with as many PRIZM tints. The lenses can be swapped out fairly easily. Hope this helps! Let us know what other questions you may have!
cool video I wanted to ask with the jaw breakers are they still good for night cycling in 2021 or have there been changes also what is the best cooler to go with if you are cycling at night with them thank you
Hi Kenneth-the Jawbreaker is available in a clear and transition lens now and PRIZM Low Light is always an option as well. You can see those lenses here: www.sportrx.com/oakley-jawbreaker.html Hope this helps!
@@sportrxeyewear hi there I contacted a uk optometrist who sell okay I explain that I wanted my prescription in Oakley jawbreaker with prism lensin a rose cooler or clear they sed that the prism isn't an option
Hi Thomas! We wanted to change things up a bit with the Sutro and Mercenary. Those are both great cycling options too though. Thanks for your feedback!
sir i have a pair of oakley jaw breaker and oakley sutro and no more sunglasses but lots of googles because i am a professional gravity or downhill rider.
Hi there! Thanks for the love! We would recommend the Flak 2.0 asian fit or the Radar EV Path asian fit. Both frame have the grip you need plus ideal coverage for any sport. You can check out the models here: www.sportrx.com/shopby/asian_fit-yes/brand-oakley/product_type-sunglasses.html?show_full_attribute=1
Hi, I am a Oakley evzero user I looking to buy the low light condition prizm lens ,could we have a test on that to see if it is worth buying it and how it feels using day time .
Hi there! PRIZM Low Light is a great choice for early morning or dusk activities. You still get the PRIZM contrast but also a maximum amount of light coming through the lens. During the day it is not the best choice on sunny days because your eyes prefer a darker tint. With that being said, the lens will still offer 100% UVA, UVB, and UVC protection. Let us know if you have any additional questions!
I love my flak 2.0s with photochromic on the road! I had to take them off when mountain biking due to fogging! Which frames do you recommend to prevent this? I was thinking ev radar or jawbreaker.
Hi Kenny! I would say the Jawbreaker and Radar EV would both work very well for you. Plus, the Jawbreaker has built in venting in the top and bottom of the shield! Check them out here: www.sportrx.com/oakley-jawbreaker.html
Hi Carlos! The Wind Jacket 2.0 is awesome! It was originally created for those hotter days out on the mountain where a snow goggle may be a little too warm on your face. It features removable face foam on the brow line and a removable strap. Both sunglasses have a large fit but the shape of the Sutro lens provides just a tad more coverage than the Wind Jacket. Hope this helps!

@@sportrxeyewear Hi guys, thanks for the reply. My priority is wind protection. I got lasik surgery on my eyes a couple of months ago and I my eyes are drier than they were before so wind protection for me is more important. I am not sure if the Jawbreakers will provide enough wind protection, the Wind Jacket 2.0 look bigger and that they will do a better job, the Sutro also caugh my attention. Based on this, can you provide a recommendation? Thanks :)
The lens on the Sutro is larger than the Wind Jacket so it will provide more coverage. The only downside to the Sutro is that the lens is a bit flatter then the wind Jacket so there is a chance you could have some wind sneaking in on the sides.
What about radaf ev advancer trail torch? I'm looking for the wider lenses foe radar ev serie, is it? Trail torch lens is the same of trail but darker? Thx
Hi there! Radar EV Advancer with Trail Torch is a great option as well! You can check out how PRIZM Trail Torch stacks up against PRIZM Trail here: www.sportrx.com/blog/oakley-prizm-trail-vs-trail-torch/
This bike was really easy to assemble ruclips.net/user/postUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA and required very few adjustments out of the box. The wheels did not require any truing/adjustments. The frame had some small scratches, but nothing major.I did replace the seat though - the seat it came with was very uncomfortable. The tires need to be re-inflated every 4-5 days, but this appears to be quite common for the narrow 700x25 tires.Overall, in my opinion, this bike looks and rides like a much more expensive bike.
So if you want to combine both cycling and running the EV Radar is the best? I have the mercenary and they fog quite a bit unfortunately.. also they won't stay close to my face as they tend to slide a bit on my nose..

Tell us what your favorite Oakley cycling sunglass is in the comments below!
No Flight Jacket?
although not an actual road biking sunglass. Wind Jacket 2.0 with a road lens!! Bought the frame on sale for $69 cad cant complain
sir obviously it has to be oakley jawbreaker
I’ve watched so many videos on Oakley’s the past couple days and this is BY FAR THE BEST thanks!
Thanks so much, Glad you enjoyed it!🔥
Right now the jawbreakers have blown my mind. They are just awesome!!
A tried and true classic!
Thank you ....i went with the EV Pitch prism white...goes well with my bell helmet
We hope you love them!
I love the color on the Jade Road Jawbreakers
Good choice!
Hi! This transparent radar with black road lenses are awesome! It's really 'half science half art' !
They ARE beautiful. You can check them out here: www.sportrx.com/oakley-radar-ev-path.html
Thanks! Yes. I've seen already. unfortunately, you don't send to my country. :(

No way! What a way for them to go. Thanks for sharing what you dig about them!
I have radar EV but planning to have another lense cos I have a black one. But what color do you think I’ll buy
Does the large Oakley logo on each side of the Jawbreaker impede peripheral vision?
There is a bit of peripheral blockage but the glasses also wrap quite a bit so the shield extends your vision. It is not at all comparable to a pair of flat frame sunglasses with thick temple arms.

Wow! Thanks you so much for your support and feedback. It sounds like you have made some great choices!
Jawbreaker plus photochromic. Enables me to wear them all year in changing light conditions. Early morning/dark > overcast > bright summer sun 😁
Great choice! Thanks for checking out our video and sharing your experience with us!
Can you review the Radar EV Advancer and compare them to the Radar EV Path... Thanks!

Zero EV. Straight forward, no fancy mumbo jumbos. Coverage, weight, ventilation. The best Oakley I've had.
Good call, Dante!
Hi! I want to ask whether I can add the extra short sight lens on the sutro ? thx
Hi there! The Sutro is not available in prescription or with replacement lens options yet. Hope this clears things up!
Buying a pair of jaw breaker tomorrow the same back and red color-way in this video
Nice! That combo is sick!
I can't decide between the radars and the jawbreakers. What would be better for casual wear.
Hi Ross! Both are fairly aggressive looks but I would say the half rim style of the Radar makes it a bit more lifestyle.
@@sportrxeyewear i actually found a pair of oakleys i didn't know existed. I ordered the field jacket. Blue and white with saphire. Some pumped!

The best cycling glasses period....Oakley m frame heater, too bad they don’t make them anymore!
Oakley could have make the M2 XL great by having a tall lens and nice wide coverage. I'm sticking to Wind Jacket 2.0 now
Quality Failure of lens coating after using 2 years, both sides peeled lens.
