I dont see case grounds on the inverters. Isn't that necessary for GFCI outlets to function properly, not to mention the consequences of an internal short to the case?

What is the problem with connecting lead acid or AGM starter batteries in parallel to lithium batteries?

Its an interesting question - just how to isolate the two sets of batteries given they would seem to require completely different BMS. How can a single alternator charge both? @@charlieruppert1423 the charging of the lithiums is easy via a DC 2 DC charger. The challenge is more around using the together or separately

@@ralph9987 lol. Yep, they mention DC to DC more than once in the video. Also, check out the diagram at 14:15. There it is, a starter battery connected straight to the lithium bus bar - with just a BMS (guessing here on what that blue box is) in the circuit.

@@charlieruppert1423 The starting and/or bow/windlass batteries typically get charged from the house bank with "B2B" (programmable DC/DC) chargers. They are NOT directly in parallel, so that when the house bank is discharged the Pb batteries remain fully charged. Only the negative cables would be to a common bus bar. The positive are via the B2B chargers
