Where's Oceanvolt? Weird to have a video about electric propulsion in boats and leaving out Oceanvolt.

Propeltion idea propeller turned by wind from mast side put sail an it turns like fan sideways gears turn propeller, now if a boat has to lock down an batten hatches why do boats not have this feature an also would a side inflatable tube run around the boat an inflated during storm while hatches shut an inside cabin should jus float ,of course I know nothing of gears yet inflated does help things float.an even if disabled it would float at least at service like a raft idea came long ago of raft type I sent it to some boat people an one idea did happen it was beeper for life raft idea someone got threw with it I am glad.Billie

In my opinion your idea appears to be sound. You are sounding unconventional in most peoples eyes I would assume though - and that is good. We all see things through different lens, which gives rise to creativity.

It was difficult to follow what you wanted to say. By winging it there was a lot of awahs and ems. A script my have been helpful. The audio was so poor. External mics please as vox (voice activated transmission) chops the speech. Just saying

Sadly this was an opportunity wasted. Had to stop after 5mins. I'm not going to hit the dislike button because in the future I would like to see other better prepared/re-cut videos about this topic. Luckily I've already known about Torqueedo, Oceanvolt and Evoy as important companies advancing the (much needed) commercialization of of marine epropulsion (love the DIY stuff too).
When commenting about the future being electric (like when are marinas going to start planning for fast charging infrastructure?) under general boating related videos the cynical all the way to hateful responses you'll get is about five times as bad as in the car world three years ago. Luckily most of the work will consist of marinising existing/future tech developed for cars and trucks.
