@@dabaumpl9839 Not really, it's kinda average.
In theory it should be, with the long straights, but because everyone runs skinny wings the difference between DRS open and closed isn't as much as at other circuits.
For the numbers, out of the 34 circuits we've raced at between 2017 and 2022, Monza has the 13th highest average overtakes per race. Miami was actually higher, in 5th (but the stats were from before this race so we only had one race to go off).

As an engineer, I can confirm that a long brake pedal is just the technical term for having the braking performance of the giraffe on Wild Animal Racing.
I don’t know why Piastri was worried about it though, the McLaren is slow enough in a straight to not need brakes.

Long brake pedal is actually a term used among racing drivers and mechanics to indicate a loss in braking performance. It might be caused by overheated brakes, brake fluid evaporating from the tank or some air in the system. These will elongate the travel of the brake pedal because the master cylinder requires a lot more braking force to stop the car. That's what they call a long brake pedal and it is not very pleasant or safe to drive at these speeds.

4:08 I think you mean conductor my guy. A composer writes/composes the music and the conductor stands in front of an orchestra and conducts them to play in time. Whether Will did either of these things is debatable mind you
I think one of the main reasons it's so boring this year is that because the Red Bull is so quick, no one is fighting them when they go for an overtake. I'm not saying they'd be able to defend the position long but like, put a smidge of effort in to keep them behind...
Also keeping everything crossed Alonso gets a win this year or causes some kind of chaos.

honestly there happened quite a few things this race,as a verstappen fan i was having the time of my life this race. Baku was boring though yeah. But also the rest of miami race was a bit more entertaining then meh

I have two friends getting into F1 now and I've been watching since 2016. I honestly feel bad for them with Red Bull this season likely going to win every race. I didn't know that record had not been achieved in 72 seasons. I thought it must have happened at least once.
Well…Ferrari won everything except the Indy 500 in 1952, which was considered a part of the F1 World Championship at the time for some ungodly reason. Probably just to fuck with people like me who’re whores for stats - the 50’s makes me wanna pull my hair out sometimes
*EDIT: Also, Alfa Romeo won every race (barring the Indy 500) in F1’s inaugural season in 1950.

mercedes was closest doing it in 2016 and only reason they couldnt was that they crashed into eachother and ironically max won that race. red bull have difficulty of switching their tyres on soo on monaco singapoore mabe there will be chases for others to win .
