- Just a video of me demonstrating the issues that present as a result of the pedal position sensor. In the video, I incorrectly state it's got something to do with the brake light switch.
I'd drive this, I like these.
Mom had a 1997 E320, which is what this is based on.
It was a fun car.
This one is super fun to drive. I am going to sort out these minor issues and get everything working properly. The biggest challenge will be replacing the top cables which have snapped.
Hello, thanks for your video.
I have the same car and encountered similar issue. Would like to know if or how your car is fixed?
Thanks
Yes - I did a followup video about it.
I have this exact issue with the exact model and year. Would love to know what you found!
@@GenXCoder I replaced the accelerator pedal position sensor and it fixed it
It cannot be fixed after replaced the pedal accerator sensor. My car problem may be related to Abs sensor, abs ring or abs pump failure.
@@megeorge4128 What code do you have? I identified the specific problem on mine by pulling the code.
Limp mode perhaps
No, it was different than that. I made some followup videos if you want to check them out.
