I'm currently playing Trails In The Sky for the very first time and it's great because I can finally fill in the blanks of the story. I'm so excited for this new episode.

I like Bergard randomly showing up for a few seconds for no real reason lol.

I hope that a lot of people will be hooked by this demo and dive into Trails games 🤞.
I'm going to be buying this on PC later this month, but I'm still gonna download the Switch demo to get my hands on it a little earlier. Partly so that I get to whet my appetite before actual launch/PC gets the English patch, and partly to try and see if I can continue my trend of being a serial hat thief. I took Altina's, Musse's, Elliot's, Emma's, Millium's, Noel's, and probably some else's that I've forgotten - with any luck, Agnes' will be next.
(I don't like hats, in case it wasn't obvious)

I have already put a few hours into the demo and I am really looking forward to the full game. I love that you can choose between action combat and turn based combat. I prefer the Ys style action combat, however, I don’t like being forced into using the turn based combat for boss battles.
I start the demo in japanese some weeks ago, but I am grateful that I will going to play it in english :D I am currently playing Cold Steel II (in the finale), and the next ones are III and IV. I hope that I can start Reverie before year end, so I can play Daybreak in the next 2025 :P.
I'm going to tell you 3 fun facts since no one knows this
1- Did you know that the legend of heroes trails of cold steel 1 Angelica and Claire had an alternate outfit that never came out in the final version? Not only her 2 but also Rean had a outfit that was called Rean's Awakened Costume I could wear Rean in the ogre version, I have the images from the ps3 version.
2- The Legend of Heroes Trails of Cold Steel 1 When Rean uses the ogre version, he just says Now! in the fights, well, before that, P*rish said (The letter is E)
3- Did you know that Nihon Falcom modified 4 ost the legend of heroes trails of cold steel 1? If you didn't know, here are the osts and they are very good, too bad the final version didn't come out but thanks to someone who found in the game files, if you know who to listen to, just copy this:

Quick question for any body who played the demo or the full game of prologue and chapter 1 which the demo covers. Without spoilers, do they mention any events that happened in Cold Steel 3, 4, and Reverie? I haven't played those yet, so I don't want to get spoiled by this demo before playing them.
They do mention a few major events that happen in CS4 and Reverie if I recall correctly. Honestly you’re safer not playing this until you beat those games

This demo is garbage. No ps5 demo so no save transfer. Not to mention leaving out pc gamers. Only square does demos the best.
Sadly no PC version and the Switch only has the prologue :/

Wow! Real time combat!!! I always get so bored of the turn based gameplay. This is really nice for us people who can't get into turn based.
The problem is that it's extremely simplistic. You have a 2 hit combo and a strong attack. It's basically just field attacks from the previous games, but you deal damage.
The boss battles forces you to use the turn based battles. The action combat is for fast grinding.

What? Ohh whining already huh..like ummm Fairy Tail was developed by Gust who never dubbed their games. One Piece is in the same situation..with a different developer.
Granted these games have way more dialogue ur stuck reading than voiced dialogue. The ratio isn’t comparable
