Josh, you say the B1G needs to scrap divisions. The problem with that is you would often have Ohio State and Michigan play twice and back to back for that matter. With the playoff format, 3 times in one season is even possible. While that might be great for CFB, and TV ratings, I don’t think anybody in the B1G wants that

I just bought clothes from Academy yesterday. They have 3X in two different brands, Magellan and BCG, I think were the brands. BCG fit me better but I'm sure that varies by person.

All the little details too programs have they have but don’t get talked about bc it’s not sexy reporting or drama related those things sell. The pettiness will be coming out and I’m not a petty person in general. The only difference in Texas and other top programs personnel wise is more experience overall and another 1-2 top classes.

I feel Penn State will beat at least one of the two between Michigan and OSU bar they don’t have any major injuries. They’ll be good enough to hang their hat on their defense they’ll be able to ease Allar into the fold with their elite backs. They have all the things you need to win the Big 10 and be an top 5 program.

Riley's OU teams were built exactly the same. Over recruit on offense and skill positions. You'll win a lot of games by just outscoring everyone, but against elite competition, you'll likely lose. Hence, Riley gave up 54 points to UGA, 45 points to Bama, 63 points to LSU, and 37 points to Clemson. Day hasn't put a single defensive player in first round since 2019 (all Urban's players). He might do so this year, but there's clearly a development problem when both your top 10 five star prospects can't get 5 sacks in a full season or be constant disruptors. JT was non-existent outside the Penn State game. Until proven otherwise, any competent offense can pass all over Ohio State.

It they execute then it's a couple yards gained and possibly the ball back. At some point your guys gotta make it happen. Its just interesting to me because some of the same arguments I hear from the Ryan Day haters I heard about Kirby Smart. Even with Knowles it's always all about his failures in year one, but nobody even cares what's happening for year 2. I see him quietly building an SEC level defense but the fans think it's just another Oklahoma State clone. I think it will be GA and OSU again in the Final, but I guess once people got it on their head that something sucks or they hate it, that's all they'll ever see. I'd just be careful what you wish for. You could find yourself in a 10 year rebuild while Day is having success at A&M or something. He's a good coach someone will appreciate him. It’s not that FSU is excited with mediocre. We’re just chest thumping about the fact that we aren’t basement dwellers anymore. We’re still in need better recruiting in order to sustain and elevate the program, but two years ago we were dreaming of being where we are now.

It’s not that FSU is excited with mediocre. We’re just chest thumping about the fact that we aren’t basement dwellers anymore. We’re still in need better recruiting in order to sustain and elevate the program, but two years ago we were dreaming of being where we are now.
