Yes, it is the M-715. The Ford Dana 60 spring perches lined up, I had to flip the center pin on the springs to make it a spring over. I also removed a leaf. The rear is a GM 14 bolt, I did have to move the mounts on the axle.
@@murphysgarage Thanks, what engine, transmission and transfer case are you using? What years of axles? I just got a M715 and would like to change out the drive train to be able to cruise a bit faster than 45 mph.
@@VaughnHuffman front axle is a 95 Ford Dana 60, rear axle is a 98 Chevy 2500hd, engine is a 03 Chevy 8.1, trans is a NV4500, and transfer case is an Atlas 3.8.
@murphysgarage The rear will be no problem. The front is iffy if I can do it without removing the hub. I need to pull one of each so I can order the correct ones. I'm told they are ram 3500 studs, but newer ones are 14mm. Mine are 9/16" like older dodge's. The shoulders vary also.
Good knowledge. 👌
Great channel and awesome vehicles!
Great info in this video as well.
Is this your M715? Or a different military truck?

@@murphysgarage Thank you!
I need to replace the studs in my axles for the new wheels..
@@russelllarue1583 if you have non-pressed rotors on the front, you might be able to do them without pulling the hubs.

@@russelllarue1583 I am having issues with tire companies at the moment. Should have it straightened out next week.
