I wasn't excited for The map of tiny perfect things because of Palm springs but will be watching it because you gave it 73% . I am excited for the Mauritian and I will be watching Barb and Star tomorrow
I was going to pass on “The Map of Tiny Perfect Things,” for the same reason you said about it being too much like “Palm Springs.” I rolled my eyes at the trailer and thought, “Total rip-off!” But after hearing your review, it sounds like it would be a worthwhile watch. Thanks for saving me $20 on Barb and Star, too 😂 I’ll pass until it’s free or cheaper to rent.
Somehow I totally missed this video until it showed up in my suggested vids when watching your Wrong Turn review. These 3 in 1 reviews are my favorite though.
The Map of Tiny Perfect Things was great imo. I've never seen Palm Springs so maybe that's why I enjoyed it more (I'll be checking out Palm Springs soon) But I thought this was a really sweet/cute movie and even though the premise has been done before I thought they made it interesting. Great soundtrack, semi-deep thoughts/emotions and overall it had the charm it needed to stand out for me. Especially the ending, I liked Margaret's speech about how Mark was sucked into the time loop because the 'universe' or whatever knew she would need someone to get her out.
When I saw the trailers, Barb and Star looked like a generic studio comedy for moms and the map of tiny perfect things looked like a rip-off of Palm Springs. Hopefully there's more to these movies
I personally really liked the Mauritanian I thought Tahir's performance was excellent and the movie was Powerful and Disturbing at the same time. In my opinion one of the best films of 2021 so far!
Wild how busy this month is for new releases, especially since it's only February. There had to have been around ten or so fairly big titles that dropped this weekend alone.
Shocked you thought so low of Barb and star. It was the best comedy I’ve seen in years and frankly many other people thought the same. It’s a shame you spoke so badly about it and totally gave it no credit. It was hilarious, sweet, irresistible and perfect for how depressing COVID has made the world.

I really enjoyed The Mauritanian. Was able to see it in theaters yesterday. Disturbing & Powerful with great performances.

I was rooting for the Mauritanian, it look really good in the trailer! It seems like you still enjoyed it, so I hope I will as well :)

Looking forward to the Mauritanian 👌 Thanks A.B.

I'm going to watch The Map of Tiny Perfect things tonight. I watched Willys Wonderland and Judas and the Black Messiah yesterday
It was a very easy watch, Kyle Allen is an absolute joy

I plan on watching Barb & Star tonight!
Great video bro
I still dont know if ill watch mauritanian
That’s why Marvel recast Cassie Lang with Kathryn Newton.
Only saw the Mauritanian and thought it was decent.
i thought barb and star had a big kids comedy vibe 😬
I just watched Summerland on Netflix. I really enjoyed it.
Have you seen Breaking news in Yuba county?
I have not! Is it good?
@@AustinBurke Hmm it’s worth a watch just for Alison Janney but it’s a bit of a mess.
The map of tiny perfect things was boring and lame imo. Just a watered-down version of palm springs. 5/10.

I gave it a 6.
That is a positive score.
That is also a fresh on rotten tomatoes.
@@AustinBurke a 6 is a light recommend. This is def a nine or ten
I just don’t care for anything with Kristen Wiig. It’s always the same as SNL. pass.
Appreciate the reviews but these are going on my turd pile.
