Oliver thinks Batman didn't have a contingency for him because he didn't perceive him to be a threat but I think it's actually a nod to Justice League Unlimited, Batman was very adamant about having someone to keep the league in check and he had his eyes set on Oliver Queen (Green Arrow) for that role. So in actuality it's not that Oliver isn't a serious threat, it's that Bats believes wholeheartedly that he's the one person he doesn't need a contingency for.

He didn’t have a serious plan to take him down but he did have a plan in one of the comics on how to defeat all the heroes in the justice league and for green arrow it was “break his arms”
Green Arrow is my favorite DCU hero. I don't know why, I just really like Daredevil and G.A. type heroes/vigilantes. Even with the "break his arms" plan, Oliver is still a major threat with how easily he can adapt and overcome with certain compromises.

The funny thing is Superman is just a really buff, humble dude that uses his muscles to help people because he was raised well but turned up to 11. At no point has he ever been portrayed as some sort of paragon of virtue.

So maybe Superman zombie turning progress would stop too if they send him there and they’ll might be able to save him in the future if they could find a cure
The thing is, they were on a strict schedule and with most of the Justice league killed, Lex not being around anymore to actually stop superman, and superman is now a very violent and unstoppable force. They only had very few options to actually stop him so their best bet was to leave superman alone to follow them, kill him, or figure a way to phantom zone him with a battle between the Amazon's and Alantians and the evacuation of earth in a single moment.

I loved this series so much. Green Arrow getting upset that Batman had no contingency plan to take him down if he became a Threat.. and then one shotting Arthur on his entrance and saying "Fuck you Batman" was some highlights. Also when I saw Flash turn, I was like "Oh shit, the fastest man alive is now the fastest virus spreader to ever exist now" I like how the villains during this also were doing things for civilians and kids to help them. Solomon Grundy had a heart of Gold. :c

I love the fact that the Anti-Life equation knew that since Superman couldn't beat the whole Green Latern Corp. It chosed to succ the sun instead. The Anti-Life equation is scary smart.
Flash tries to only have time travel and mulitversal reset as a last resort since it tends to mess things up just as bad if not worse. But by the time it had been the last resort he was already infected

I actually really enjoyed the DCeased comics, but DCeased: Unkillables (I believe is called?) Is a much more entertaining series of comics about the people who stayed behind.

I would love to see an story arc where someone as powerful as (crazy) superman and confronts him, and somehow the dude was hiding in plain sight all these years without anyone knowing about his powers. There is a chapter in Marvel X-men where (I don't remember what) crashes in the city and buildings during the days of mutant persecution, and during the crisis turns out lots of people had powers and fly, run, climb walls or become invisible while running away.

I've come to accept that the purpose of Captain Atom is to show up and die so as to raise the stakes of whichever story he's in, kinda like Sean Bean.
