I’ve been using the drummer much more now. It sounds much better with the new processing but the main thing is the new interface which makes much more sense to me. I found the last one confusing.
We all(?) know that Logic Pro is a DAW that you can use your physical bass, guitar, keyboard, and drum set; then lay down tracks without even using virtual instruments. That’s providing you are a musician that really knows how to play. A big plus is that there are effects (like pedals) already onboard with which to enhance your real instrument. Plus there are plugins galore to add in. However… …suppose you are somehow away from your musical instruments, but have your iPad with Logic Pro, and wish to compose a song. As musicians, we can proceed to make a song, fix it up so it sounds decent, then later, sub in your real instruments for Logic Pro’s virtual instruments. It’s a tool, to use however you want to. Maybe you don’t or can’t play real instruments. You might still be able to use Logic Pro to create something enjoyable and entertaining using virtual instruments. If you are looking and want in, just do it. It’s worth it, even for $5 a month!
Yup, agree with all that. I'm going away for a week on July and will be only taking my iPad and acoustic guitar. Now I can write songs and add bass (and drums) easily without my physical bass guitar.
So, I don't believe so? I haven't seen any Logic Templates for iPad, though you could easily make and use them as project files on someone wanted to. Technically they could work as long as they don't include any plugins or features that aren't compatible with Logic Pro for iPad.

I havent seen the options for time signatures and having the session players switch between two time signatures in the same piece.
