I found about seven years ago. Did you know nectarine was made by a Korean man in United State. Who came over to USA during Japan occupancy in Korea in 1900. He worked as manual labour in a orange orchard. He cross breed the plum with the peach to get nectarine. Wow!

here's the word 'love' or sarang 사랑 and here's the word 'today' or oneul 오늘. in the first word, notice how the character ᄅ is not at the bottom. the second word uses the same character as what is called a butchim. when ᄅ is not used as a butchmin, it has a bit of an 'R' sound, and when it is used as a butchmin, it has more of an 'L' sound.

@KPopped98 My guess would just be a 'lazy tongue.' Going from the "K" sound to the "L" sound is kind of awkward, especially when then needing to go from an "L" to "Y."
So instead of dictating it clearly and in turn sounding a little choppy, they just sort of mash the words together until it sounds more pleasant. Then over time it gets accepted as the norm. Happens with a lot of Korean words.

@TheDarkestCode I think its better to just to learn words or phrases to expend your vocabulary. And maybe after few months to start with that. In that way you also get a more natural feeling in connecting words with eachother. I don;t know how good your korean is. But i believe the majority of the viewers are beginners so it could be a big shock to them. And learning grammar and such takes a different style of teaching..so i believe.
