Im gonna be serious for a second, ive been learning french in school for about 5/6 years and thats a crap ton a lot of hours in total, and by watching a couple of minutes of her videos i probably know more korean then french... GOOD JOB FRENCH TEACHER
roi grose I have a similar problem. I recently had to learn the word “motion sequence”. English is not my first language as well so I had to look it up just for this comment.I speak English fluently.
I found about seven years ago. Did you know nectarine was made by a Korean man in United State. Who came over to USA during Japan occupancy in Korea in 1900. He worked as manual labour in a orange orchard. He cross breed the plum with the peach to get nectarine. Wow!
Professor Oh, you always do a great job. You teach me Korean words and make me laugh at the same time. It's a fun way to learn. You are very talented. Thank you so much for all that you do.
PROFESSOR OH! If you ever come out with a korean learning dvd set please tell us i'd so buy it, i love your videos instead of being bored when learning a language you entertain me and make me take note! THANKYOU!
I am so happy to see this video. This way i can learn korean phrases i can used in everyday communication when on holiday. Please continue. This is great for foreigners who are captivated with your dramas and ost music which inspires them to visit Korea. On behalf of all us foreigners who are learning the culture ignited by the availability of Kdrama THANK YOU SOOO MUCH. I live in Barbados, an island located in the Caribbean. You are a GREAT TEACHER.
here's the word 'love' or sarang 사랑 and here's the word 'today' or oneul 오늘. in the first word, notice how the character ᄅ is not at the bottom. the second word uses the same character as what is called a butchim. when ᄅ is not used as a butchmin, it has a bit of an 'R' sound, and when it is used as a butchmin, it has more of an 'L' sound.
@Ellie Kwok i dont think so. melon in korean only refers to honeydew. in english it refers to any type of melon. like cantaloupes honeydew or watermelons. and other melons as well
Hey Professor Oh! Love you lessons. Please teach us how to say the titles of persons like "Mrs.,Mr...." in korean. I know there is something like "-ssi" isn´t it? Are there some more?
@KPopped98 My guess would just be a 'lazy tongue.' Going from the "K" sound to the "L" sound is kind of awkward, especially when then needing to go from an "L" to "Y." So instead of dictating it clearly and in turn sounding a little choppy, they just sort of mash the words together until it sounds more pleasant. Then over time it gets accepted as the norm. Happens with a lot of Korean words.
Please, I want to invite you to come to Port Alegre, and eat: Jabuticaba, Guava, Araça, avocado, Bergamot! Delicious Fruits! Thanks for the interesting lessons of Korean.
@TheDarkestCode I think its better to just to learn words or phrases to expend your vocabulary. And maybe after few months to start with that. In that way you also get a more natural feeling in connecting words with eachother. I don;t know how good your korean is. But i believe the majority of the viewers are beginners so it could be a big shock to them. And learning grammar and such takes a different style of teaching..so i believe.
I was about to tell you but then I realized you made this comment 9 years ago.....well if your still confused 9 years later it’s because when eung is at the end of a group of Hangul it isn’t silent
