    Wow, so much to unpack here. There is not any difference between the nail gun heads when it comes to "driving power." The difference here is only due to types of nail heads used, either Clipped or Full. Both gun tips can fit in the same areas, and both are used for rough-in framing carpentry, not finishing or fine carpentry.
    You are confusing a framing nailer with a finish nailer or brad nailer. You even show a completely different finish nailer with a 90 degree nail set in one picture.
    It comes down to the Building Code in which you are working that determines if the 30 or 21 degree framing nailer is to be used. But now that full head nails can be found in both of these set nailers now, it really isn't a major issue. Full head nails are used on the coastal areas and other areas where you typically have a lot of wind. A full head nail has more holding power than a clipped nail.
    As far as price, both 30 and 21 degree nailers are exactly the same when comparing the same make/model. Nails are about the same cost between the two as well.
