Thank you
Thanks Marc, the free parking behind the pub got my attention. Nothing like a big steak and a couple of sherbets and Not having to drive 'home' afterwards.
I've spent a considerable amount of time In Dumbleyung on a family farm for the last 40 years. I know this town like the back of my hand and it holds a lot of memories, including the tragic death of two of my cousins. Thank you for this video, it means a lot.
Glad you enjoyed it.
I use to go duck shooting on lake dumbleyung many years ago
My ggg grand parents harry and ruby wann had a shop and market garden there.harry found humsn remains in the lake believed to be a missing man
Hi, we have a story on our webpage about that, it goes as follows :
In October 1933 a Greek man was drowned in the lake in what some locals suspected to be foul play.
Peter Kosta vanished and beside his neatly folded clothes by the lake and a set of footprints leading to the waters edge, no other sign of him could be found.
Locals had a number of theories about the disappearance but it was not until 1944 that Harry Wann, walking along the dry lake bed, came across human remains. Although it could never be confirmed, it was presumed that the bones belonged to Peter Kosta.
Very suspicious .Harry and ruby moved to pinjarra.rubys family where the batts from jarradale.harry was from Orange NSW.tuff times.
